Thanks Dan. She is beautiful and not just on the outside.A real lady in every sense of the word and treated me better then any Latina i have met. I could not have met a more wonderful woman if i had psychic ability to pick one ahead in the future.Time will tell all, but i think that she will be the one i will marry down the road. We both want the same things out of life and she is a professional woman and also wants to share in all the repsonsabilities of marriage, bills, ect.. It was unreal, she just would hardly let me pay for anything, food, the hotel and airfare to the beach resort, Nada. I had to insist several times to pay for dinners, lunches, ect. She says most woman from Ecuador are like this and wants to pay for things as well and not let the man have to do it all. I should have found Ecuador sooner for sure.

That's the look that I like.

I beleive it. One of the Ecudorian girls that I talked to was the same. I mentioned that if things developed then she would be part of things too.

She went off saying that she would cover my plane tickets, and all or 1/2 the costs on everything. All I meant was that I plan to make decisions with my spouse, but it gave me an insight to her.

The bad... I only had one photo of her and it was from a weird angle. I knew it could go either way. I got 4 more pictures from her and I just was not attracted to her in the slightest. I had an idea that something was up when it was like pulling teeth to get pictures.

She was by far one of the sweetest women I have met though.

Thanks Guys . Appreciate the support. Cowboy, the hair blew me away when i first say her. She has a look similar to many i have seen in Medellin i think and i loved the way the ladies looked there.

Nice photos and congratulations on your lovely novia. First picture looks like Quito. Now pardon a huge digression but I couldnÂ´t help but notice that about two and a half head widths to the left of her head is a small tree with large white hanging bell like flowers called Datura candida or locally "borachera". This the plant that the knock out drug scopolamine is made from.

Thanks Guys. I am taking it one day at a time, but so far, real good. Cali-Vet, the beach photo is from Atacames, a beach about 5 hours in car in the state of Esmeraldas. Nothing but hotels and about 50 bars lined up side by side, great beach, cheap seafood, I really liked it.

I am going to try to write a report this weekend as the job has been real busy since i returned. Her name is Fernanda, she is 29 years old and lives in Quito Ecuador. She has a sister that is married to a great guy named Javier. Fernanda is the Chief Financial Officer for the largest Petroleum Company in Ecuador. She has a staff of 12 under her, so she makes great money and does not need mine or any other man's, so she is with me because of me, which is a change from many of the poverty stricken women in Colombia i have met. Her family i cannot say enough about. They treated me like i was there son and they were all crying when i left the airport. Her mother is a real card, a real negotiator on the streets and stores. We got along super well and her father is a great guy too. He owns a small mini-market type place in one of the more popular barrios in Quito called Zolanda and they live across the street in a 3 level apartment building they own. Fernanda owns her own home, a modern 3 BR 2 level about 30 minutes from the parents home in a strata 6 type barrio. She has her own car and i rarely needed a taxi. Communication was no problem for me as i speak great Spanish , but there are many English speaking people i found in Quito and Atacames. Lot's of American and Euros tourists in Quito for the Eco tours, ect. I found Quito to remind me of many places i Have been. There are parts of the city that look like Bogota, Medellin , Cartagena(historic district) and Cali . The prices for most things are very cheap and they use the US Dollar as there currency, so ATM's ect were a breeze and i liked paying in Dollars. if you ever wondered where all those SUSAN B. ANTHONY Dollars went, well they went to Ecuador. They use them a lot. Food, was pretty good, they eat a lot of fat type foods that are regional and i did not like very much, but they also have some great Steaks, Seafood ect very reasonable. Here are a couple more pics. I will try to resize some this weekend and do some type of webshots thing. In closing, she is one of the most educated, responsable and sexy women i have ever met. She does have her defects like all of us and is super vanidosa in her looks, i mean 15-20 minutes in the bathroom just to play with her hair, ect,. Oh well, such as life, jeje. I am taking it slow because i have seen these things crash and burn before in many mens relationships,including mine, but the good things are her family really likes me and accepts me. Fernanda wants to settle down and be with only one man, someone who likes her family and is a decent person, not machista, ect, so we both are looking for the same things and one of the most important things is that we make each other laugh a lot and to me, that is A Numero Uno !

Way to go, KB!!!! Ecuador is an awesome country with a lot of natural beauty. Great beaches, high volcanoes, jungles, the Galapagos, etc. You have a population mix like Peru with some european influence and a lot of indian. Don't forget the women's prison, also.
