Does she look at your phone?
« on: September 30, 2019, 07:54:06 PM »
Earlier this week, being The Master of the Universe and King of all I survey that naturally everyone in this and neighboring solar systems knows I am, I just HAD to brag on here how my cell phone is basically off limits, that my wife damn near always knows to keep not just her nose OUT of it, but her eyes and hands off too.

But fate's sure enough a bitch.

Because the VERY next day, my wife noticed me on my phone a little more actively than my normally already overactive self. Already having the normal other reasons for being suspicious (reasons typically not fixated or acted on, after all -> 'boys will be boys,') she finally grew tired, called me out and asked sweetly but firmly: "Honey, let me see it please.--Really. Now".

And it WASNT pretty. No, it wasn't all news, automobiles, P.L., wristwatch sites/apps, undeleted messages that should've been Xd, not 'just' porn, like most guys have a bit of in their phones. (fess up, choirboys) It was all that, and 'other' sh!t too.

I could've fought it,  had a little wrist wrestle with her, gained full control of my phone, just said "NO" and left our bedroom for another part of the house, phone in hand,.

But that wasn't gonna cut it.

Even though she gets over my bad ways/episodes quick, if I snatched my phone back, it would've been one of those:

"I won THAT battle,  but I just went and started a f_ _king war"

So I gave up the goods (bads?) and let her pore over my ummm, 'interesting' phone, more precisely,  it's apps, files, photos, general contents etc,

The good, the bad & the ugly....I ate crow as an after dinner snack that night...

Testament to how lucky I've been, we still had a sweet night in the marital bed after some tense minutes dissipated.

Now, as well as in the past, how, what kind of attention does YOUR phone get from your wife and/or GF/s?

It's often a contentious issue with self righteous USA born n raised women I've seen and it's pretty much always been a concern when hunting babes overseas.

I knew keeping my phone and sensitive papers 'off access' was very important for things to go smoothly overseas. A suspicious, nosy babe who you're trying to bag, becomes a different sort of prey, more difficult,  when she's got an "I SPY" thing going on. I've dated some pretty aggressive, inquisitive Latinas over the years!! Jealous, suspicious and snoopy!!

She looks at my phone without asking sometimes. The only time we argued was when my ex girlfriend was corresponding with me by email. I told my wife about it. My wife read the emails and flipped out because she sensed my ex was lonely (her and baby daddy split)and trying to get attention from me, which was true. With my wife standing over me, she made me send a picture of my wife and I , telling the ex not to contact me any more because I didn't want to damage trust with my wife. My wife was 100% right...

With my wife standing over me, she made me send a picture of my wife and I , telling the ex not to contact me any more because I didn't want to damage trust with my wife. My wife was 100% right...

I have almost zero communication with my ex and those rare times we communicate,  usually it's tense. Only woman I've ever had a long relationship with that's like that.

YET,  my wife still in a way, considers her a threat, someone I could possibly go back to.

Sometimes she half heartedly teases (probing actually) saying stuff like "Come'on, admit it, you really miss her..."

But NOT!!!!

Makes ZERO sense to me, but is real to my wife. Glad there was no correspondence like that on my phone!

I can't wrap my head around it, because just the mere idea of going back sounds like maximum torture.

Glad at least you and your ex gf can be civil adults.

If I chance to see someone I dated 15 or even as recently, from over thirty years ago (that was a shock) I get a smile, usually a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

I don't stay in communication with any of them, but a couple ex GFs of mine  are FB friends with my wife!!

And I had two kids with my ex and them having to see that dysfunctional relationship,  that's what's really sad.

My wife has been 100% quietly thoughtfully respectful to my ex's role as their biological mom, has never yelled or beat them (like they deserved)  and that fact just pisses me off more.

Just the fact that for 14 years my wife has been the greatest step Mom in the world to our sons and my ex won't even say a word to her, THAT's really awful and indicative of just how mentally warped my ex wife is.

Come'on fellas, we know a whole lot of women are jealous, insecure, suspicious beings. I bet if you leave the room with your phone and her behind and she can open it, chances are....

I remembering bopping around the Philipines and at each hotel, thinking about bringing my phone into the shower to avoid snooping.. Watching my phone with my 'date' around was just as important as the hotel's front desk covering for me.

Wore my welcome out with the hotel front desk one trip, when I mentioned online the hotel and dates I was staying at in Manila. Oh the humanity!!

Back then Cherry Blossoms was a very hyperactive site. It had a wide open 'open chat' function, where everybody could watch and chime in. I was stupid enough to say I'll be at X on X dates, look me up! The bamboo telegraph alone covers over 7100 islands!

It was damn near like a line of refugees, but it was single women, some who'd bussed in from hours away. Some brought their mothers, filling the lobby! I felt like a damn rock star, but as then as now, I tend to find and keep a 'tight squeeze' on one babe for a while, fine tuning and dialing up the heat, so my pick of the trip who I did not ditch, was NOT a happy young lady.

And I missed the opportunity to 'audition' what looked like some promising talent!

But catch a gal spying  your phone, then just maybe she'll say: 'Oh, I was only looking at your screen saver pictures, but more likely she's looking to see what the competition is.

And watch what you put in chat rooms!

I must be boring - nothing at all on my phone that my wife cannot see.  She does not have my passcode, however.  I do have hers.  LOL!

But, seriously, if she did have my passcode there is nothing on my phone embarrassing to me or harmful to our marriage.  It is mostly work related . . .

No, not "boring" apparently you're a good man, with a good, lucky wife!

My android phone's  unlocked by a stupidly simple tracing of dots to make an 'L'  My wife knows how to do it in a second, but almost never does.

Hers is an apple iphone--I think they always auto lock. She told me the pw/code, but I forgot. I am no applehead.

No worry, she'll leave it open at times (doesn't immediately close it when she walks away around house) if I want to inspect it I can if I move fast, but like you and your Mrs., she's such a good gal, I rarely bother.

As for me, while I gave up alcohol 20 years ago when I realized the drinks were having me instead of me having the drinks, and while still far from a being a choir boy, I hope I'm and my wicked ways are not remembered like the words Errol Flynn supposedly said before the bottle, hollywood, his money, then his very life, left him:

"""“I've had a hell of a lot of fun and I've enjoyed every minute of it.” Errol Flynn apparently uttered those bittersweet words — according to various media accounts - just before he died in 1959 from a heart attack. The fun-loving actor was also buried with six bottles of whiskey""""

Even if she isn't a good gal....what are you going to do......it appears the well has been poisoned.
