It's high time I introduce myself before I am becoming a senior member, LOL.
I live near Barranquilla with my childless bride for almost two years now, we have somewhat of an age difference, 38 years to be exact, she is 34 and there are times when I am wondering if I didn't get carried away, wanting a younger woman. We've had our ups and downs but we are still together, knock on wood. She has a bit of a temper but I was hardened for 26 years when I lived in California with my ex-wife, a Mexican woman who would explode over one thing or another on an almost daily basis. A divorce was the furthest thing on my mind then and I actually looked down on guys who divorced their wife, until one day I learned about Colombian Cupid from an ad on Univision TV. I met this lady from Cali, a psychologist, a very pleasant and attractive woman, she sung and played the guitarr like a pro and we fell in love on the Internet, I run away from home six months later and made my first trip to Colombia. We've had a very satisfying relationship, I loved the music she played, but as luck would have it, she was high maintenance and she became a serious drain on my financial resources and I was slowly but surely going broke. She had a couple of well to do ex-husbands and it was impossible for her to enter a store without buying something. She just couldn't change and I finally realized she was out of my league but I do miss her music. Now I am with a somewhat poor barrio girl, she too would drain my resources if I let her, but this time I put my foot down and said no and she understands that we are going to live off my meager pension and don't touch the savings account. Would like to add, I am Northern European and left my native country in my early twenties.

Researcher, funny, I do have her CD's but only play them when I'm home alone because my current bride doesn't take kindly to her, which isn't surprising.
We are still best friends and send each other links to music on 'youtube' we have in common.

 That's cool you still get along with your ex. I lost contact with mine and I'm sure my latina wife wouldn't be too happy if I stayed in contact with her.

Deseo, the same way I met the first one, this time on Latin American cupid. While I solely made contact with the ex on Colombian Cupid, I wrote to different nationalities the second time.  There was a very attractive Asian woman in an African state but she turned out to be a scammer,Then I met this Peruana, also very attractive and slender, she insisted that I call her, when I finally did she wanted me to send her some money for her visa and some suitcases (a new one for me) as she was going to visit me on my ranch in Panamá. She spoke fairly good English, BTW.
After losing some serious dough with the Asian woman (I'm somewhat gullible when I am lonely), also for a visa and travel expenses, I was wide awake this time and hung up on her and denounced her on cupid as a scammer. A week later she was on cupid again after having been banned, but this time under a different name, but would you believe with the same picture. So I notified cupid once more. Yes, you guessed it, she came on a third time, different name again but also with a different picture. Again I notified cupid and lost track of her after that because I was busy with the new gf.
The new one was busy also, but not only with me, there was an other European in the equation, who desperately wanted to meet her, but I didn't know that at the time, only when I read her first e-mails to me a year and a half later (I had her password all along), for no other than reasons of nostalgia, I had a big surprise, she wrote some very lovely stuff to him the same time she wrote to me. I also learned that she broke up with her last bf two 2 days before she answered my mail and she had me believe all this time that she hadn't been with anyone for several years. There is some truth to that except she completely forgot to mention the last bf. That was a bit of a shock for me let me tell you, but I came to the conclusion that most women bent the truth when it comes to previous relationships. In Colombia I always ask about the last bf and when they broke up for reasons of my security. I don't want to be confronted by some jealous bf and his buddies who suddenly became an ex and can have me eliminated for less than $1500 bucks by hiring a sicario (assassin) if he is really upset. She actually deleted her outgoing mail before we met personally but failed to delete her incoming mail, something she regretted bitterly. We are still together but I'm not as happy as I used to be, because honesty is very important to me and as you guy's can tell, I am an open book and I hope some of you bride seekers learn something from my experience.
To make a long story short, I got to her before the other dude did, but it was close. Actually he caught her being busy on cupid, she said she was looking at my profile at the time, sí como no,
and he was furious about it and called it off. She wieseled out of that one by telling me that she doesn't take anybody serious on the Internet until she meets him face to face. As I said I'm inclined to be gullable and thought she was madly in love me. You are probably asking youself, why doesn't vikingo keep looking for an other woman since he lives right there, in the Colombian candy store...
Well, let mi tell you, this woman has a body that would make a grown man cry, I could never replace her, not at my age of 72. I would long for her until the day I die. I can't imagine seeing her leave and to see her lovely natural breasts, her slim waist and teenage like behind for the very last time. Call me pussy whipped, I'm sure you Americans can think of a name for a guy like me, call me whatever, I can't part with her.
FT, as far as the age difference, it has never been a problem as she doesn't seem to like young men at all, especially young Colombian men of which most are just playing with women and the two of us are very compatible sexually.
Now if I would take her to a first world country, I would be overwhelmed by competition and lose her quickly or buy her whatever she wants, LOL. I have no illusions in that respect.
