I have been divorced for a few years. My ex is Puerto Rican but she grew up in the US. I am now 42 and have been to Colombia and met some ladies. What a difference from my ex. I really love latin women but if I had known there was such a difference between the ones raised here and those in other countries I would have started looking outside the US years ago.

My time and finances are decent enough so I can travel every few months or so. I do have two kids with my ex but so far it I haven't had any problems. No steady novia just yet.

I'll be hanging around here to learn what I can so it's good to be a part of things here.

Welcome aboard...don't be afraid to dive in.
 
If you're Colombia bound and speak Spanish well consider one of the smaller cities. Neiva, Palmira, Cartago, Armenia, Sincelejo, Bucaramanga, etc. I've never been but DL and a few other friends of mine have great things to say about Cucuta as well. Plenty of beautiful single women in these towns and they haven't been spoiled by a bunch of gringo invaders. Also a great way to experience the many different aspect of Colombian subcultures. Enjoy!

I doubt I will try any of the smaller cities in Colombia. I live in a big city myself and don't think a small town girl would fit in here.

     Welcome to the forum Chitown.Plenty of advice here.Some of it good and some of may seem wacky but take what you can use and leave the rest.

    I don't know if you should cross the smaller cities off your list.My wife is from a big city but really enjoys small town life here in the US.
