First trip south

Hello All,
 
I've been a lurker here for quite awhile learning all I can from the posts.  I'm planning my first trip south this winter.  I'm going to be riding a motorcycle from US to the end of the road in Argentina, and back.  Am planning some extra time in Costa Rica and especially Colombia hoping to meet some women.  I'm not 100% searching for a wife, but if met the right girl, who knows?
I've been looking at profiles on latinamericancupid.  I'm going to start writing to some women soon.  My question is how to filter out the fake profiles?  Some of them have photos listed in several different countries, have the exact same text in them, etc. Anyone have positive experience with latinamericancupid??  Is there a better dating website to use?   Thanks

I guess you could filter those out for sure. Apart from the obvious fakes though I think you have to meet them in person to know what´s what. Getting that meeting can be the tough part.
Interesting trip. I met a guy at the Platypus hostel in Bogota about six years ago who did the same thing. He left from New York City on a bike and was on his way to Tierra Del Fuego.

Dude, that would be so cool.  If you make it all the way down to Estancia Harborton, Tierra del Fuego, you should try to start up in Prudhoe Bay.  Post some pics when you get back!

I'm planning on going to Prudhoe Bay next summer!!  Who knows....I might meet some chica in Colombia and never leave!!!
