My two cents for what it is worth FT.  With all due respect, if you are still communicating with her 90% in Spanish she is not going to progress much with English as it has been for the last few years.
By now you should be speaking to her in English the majority of the time or your just going to hurt her progress with learning the language.
Ask UT if  I am correct on this one.

Well ChrisF you are probably right, but alas we must continue to make strides.  I'm happy she is motivated about being in school and we have gone from 99% spanish to 90% spanish!  I think on this issue, time is on our side.

That is great that she is going to school to learn English! As I said before, your not going to make much progress with a computer program. Once she starts the classes, you will see a big change quickly.

I agree with this observation and wonder why so many guys try to learn Spanish with a computer program instead of just signing up for a night class at their local community college.

  One thing I can say about Fathertime he had a plan and it worked. He knew what he wanted to do, I do not think it would work for everyone but it worked for him. I have to give him credit for that. On speaking 90% spanish only to his wife? Well I have a answer for that his relationship is working so what is the problem? Nothing as far as I am concerned, plus he had a baby a short time ago so he can't be doning much wrong as far as I am concerned. Keep up the good work!!
