"Security and safety should be their top consideration, but their long visa process delays are putting a lot of people's lives on hold," Cantwell said in a statement.

I thought the sorry levee system that failed was the reason for NO being f'ed up?  Then all the money and auditors that was sent to NO but the money never really reached the people that needed it, while we have people taking vacations and getting sex changes with the federal money meant for the disaster victims.  I don't know how that makes it the mayors fault...
