Best Filipinas come from ????

I know this is very very general and know that every lady is different, but just wondered if you guys had any OPINIONS on where the best area of the Philippines to look for a lady that would make a good bride?  I have read Angeles city was not a good place, nor Manila.  I have met one nice lady who grew up in Iloilo.  Any opinions on this location?

Iloilo is a nice area. My first wife was from a small town in Iloilo Province. I love the sound of their language (Ilonggo or Hiligaynon). Just be careful because Iloilo is next door to Capiz where the Aswangs hail from!

There is nothing wrong with girls from Manila or Angeles City (or any other tow/city).

That being said, I always pitch Davao.  I admit, my wife is from there, so I am biased, but the one thing I will say about Davao is that if I hdan't found the love of my life there, that's where I would have kept looking until I did.  Just like in the US, people from different regions have different ways about them.  For me Davao felt the most comfortable.  The people there just seemed a little more laid back, a little more welcoming.  I've met dozens of couples and wives from all over the Philippines in the last 14 years and most of them have been wonderful people and great wives.  I always seem to have a greater connection to the ladies from Mindanao, especially Davao and Gen San - General Santos City, Mindanao.  Maybe I am just feeling connected because of my wife, but it sure feels like there is something to it.

Anyway... where she's from doesn't matter.  It's how she treats you that counts.

You never really know. I didn't care for Manila (too much of everything, except space) and Cebu City was 'so so' to me, but maybe, if you're just looking for pure 'knock you dead' pretty women---women so damn sexy you've got to wear shades, Makati in Manila and Cebu City, along with close into CC's Mandaue, Mactan & Lapu Lapu, maybe those places probably have the most that in terms of numbers. But then again, Davao City and Mindanao in general, seem to have a whole lot of cuties too. But hey--there's 7000 islands and I've only scratched the surface so far.

I've never been to Angeles City and with it's reputation for prostitution and bars, I probably won't get there, but I imagine there's some nice girls there, if you really sort them out. Have fun if you have at em! Just don't bring home any unwanted 'souvenirs!'

I like Mindanao and Davao City in particular the most, because Davao City strikes me as just about the right size for me--not too big and not too small. I also like the fact that a lot of the ladies there were raised in the country, namely in the outlying provinces and once they became old enough, moved to the city to find work.

I think most cities in third world nations world wide have that phenomenon--large migrations from the farm--rural areas to already overloaded cities. That's why some, but not all Asian, as well as Central & S. American cities are so messed up.

Davao is a pretty spread out city-they actually claim that by area, it's the largest city in the world (I thought forever annexing Jacksonville, Florida held that dubious distinction) and yet Davao just seems like a safer, warmer and gentler city than the others to me. And no cyclones in Mindanao either! Sure the traffic can get a little tight, but nothing like the larger Cebu City or Manila and it's surrounding satellite cities, themselves with millions of people all crowded in.

Again, this is a very broad topic, but generally I do like a gal who's 'country raised' but educated and has moved to the city in search of a better life for her family and herself. Sure, there are city raised ladies with good morals and dispositions, but all things considered, I think the girl from the province, but city university educated, is more my speed.

If I had to search all over again, I think I'd apply this same approach to other countries that pique my interest.

I think that the city of "Sexmoan" (Sasmuan) in Pampanga might be an interesting place to check out!  

You can find a great wife anywhere in the Philippines...although I would be a bit reluctant to search in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) due to safety concerns.

If you want to meet a TON of Filipinas really fast, never mind Tokyo, but set your sights on Hong Kong on a Sunday.

Ater lunch, Sunday's the day when Filipina domestics are off (I've heard there's somewhere around 250,000 there) and a whole lot of them go to certain clubs, bars, etc. I'd imagine though that there's a lot of Filipina domestics that are also off on Sundays in most major Asian cities.

I've never been to H.K. except passing through and I don't think the wife would let me out of sight, but for a single guy, it'd probably be quite a sight.

Oh Dave--does staying away from the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM)  mean the guys won't be getting together on Tawi Tawi or Jolo Island?

I dunno.  I've been there on a Sunday, and most seemed to be auntie types.  Plus they are all clustered in groups.  If you find a cutie that catches your eye, good luck trying to peel her off from her sisters to chat her up.  If you got that kind of game, why waste it here when you can go to the source!

Hey Jeff,

They are called "cultural dancers" by the Philippine and Japanese governments.   Not so talented...at least in dancing.    I have seen good girls who dance better than that! Those Japayukis are such a contrast to the real "cultural dancers" and most of the Filipinas that I know!  Having said that... I think I know a couple of the ladies in the video.   Just joking, all Japayukis look the same to me...they were wearing boots so I couldn't see the obligatory Rosary tattoo around the ankle.  

But, I did enjoy listening to Sir Thomas John Woodward, OBE!

I know!   I just didn't want any newbies to head in the wrong direction based on "my advice." LOL I know a number of of Japayukis whose kano husbands think that they struck gold...who knows, maybe they did.   I am always amazed at how conservative and proper many appear in their Facebook photos with their kano husbands, as compared to when they come home to the Philippines without their hubby to visit!   Many Japanese guys who marry them, have their wives keep "working" for the extra income.

Also there is a thriving Filipina Community in HK. Just ask around. Around Central on Sundays, especially upstairs by the Stock Exchange, you'll be stared at. Take some time. If shy go to to the KTV/bars. Need directions? I can ut up a google maps reference.

A few points:

Victoria Park is the largest park in HK Island & it is not entirely Indonesian maid terrotery - they dominate the western part of the park. There are other nationalities that frequent the park & they each stick to a section of the park.

There's some very excellent KTVs/bars in some lanes, just by Central.

You may have meant well but telling someone to go to a KTVs/bars to meet women may be sending the wrong message.

Also there is a thriving Filipina Community in HK.

For those who are wondering  Central MTR is a train station.

These are the area that have been told to me by 2 of my wives' cousins who have been working in HK for the pass few years:
The HK Cultural Center & The Avenue Of The Stars both in TST,
The HSBC main building, the Statue Square & The World Wide Plaza all in the Central District.
Victoria Park in Causeway Bay.

With The Statue Square being the main meeting point - you can goggle it.
