Nah fathertime I wasnt trying to get a date really.  Just talking.  I don't really talk to people on the phone, except for her.  She calls me and we talk for hours every day.......   Shes the only person I've ever known that Ive been able to talk to for that long.  She asks me out because she's normally busy with work and school, so when she gets a break from all of that, she lets me know.  Not too strange, really.

Jorge--just go with the flow. It's nice to know that she's in her 'comfort zone' talking on the phone for hours sometimes with you. That comfortableness might extend to other areas as well. Plus it's cheap date and if things do 'warm up' a bit there, there's no sex that's safer than 'phone sex' , they say!

If she's a virgin (I wouldn't ask--if it gets to that time, you'll know) she may be freaking out a bit when it comes to holding hands, kissing etc--thinking that 'one thing leads to another', and if she IS thinking that way--it's true!

There's a time to push and a time to pull and then time's to just hang in there, and 'read' the situation. You'll get a better idea as you both get to know each other when to be assertive. I wouldn't ask her--'well, do you like me?"--that's rarely effective--sort of a hopelessly open ended question. I'd lead with something like "Hey--you know, I find it really easy and feel nice liking you--you're a sweet lady--you take care now"--with an upwards nod of the head as you say good night. That'll leave her thinking...

You ever hang out in Georgetown? I lived there for a couple years on 39th street as kid and used to love all the cool little stores and stuff there, Montrose park, etc. There must be a thousand things to do on the cheap between Georgetown, Arlington--Mt Vernon, --in DC, the Smithsonian, the National Geographic Museum, all the monuments....

Ironically, I now live in a community in Georgia, called 'Georgetown' that's an 'amenity protected' pool-tennis-clubhouse type development that's rather boring and homogenized in comparison. About as new and exciting a a Jiffy Quik corn muffin
