I do know one thing Fuzzyone...I do know the difference between "gull" and "gall", and I'll let you in on a little secret, a gull is a bird...now I'm not sure what you meant when you wrote that I have "a bird" to attack you...enlighten me please...

Sorry I have to go to work in the morning but from the way you post, it seems you have nothing better to do then put empty post here.

So tell us what it is going to be? You have not answered one question even the easy ones, please do us a favor we are on the edge of our seats waiting for you to take over the board with all your stories?

Once again dude try answering some questions. You answer nothing besides looking for speeling mestikes.

So tell me does your mother know you are here? I would not want to get this forum closed down because I am picking on a little kid.

Sorry Fuzzy, the majority of your errors are grammatical, not spelling, which usually reflects a low IQ and lack of education.  Now, I've got a plane to catch...guess where it's headed???

I blame the guy for PICKING The girl, that was his major mistake. After that most mistakes were by her.She seems whacko, not just normal Colombiana irresponsible and jeaulous with active immaginations.
There ARE MANY ways to screw it up.This was doomed from day one  because of the mental instability of the chica.A guy needs to find that out.Don't  just jump in thinking the spousal visa will protect you.It will to a point but you can have ALOT of trouble even if you DO NOT marry her,as he proved. You need to know them better than he did before taking her to the US on a spousal visa. And,for gods sakes,no kids right away.Geeze.His second major screw up.
Will someone PLEASE do a POSSITIVE artical on how the process can turn out??? I can give them lots of happy couples to talk to.Guys who shopped carefully and found a good one.AND there are THOUSANDS of good girls and good guys,so why is it all we hear are these negative stories?????

Because the negative stories are more interesting.

Pete, “shopping” is not the appropriate word or method for describing ones search for a wife.

I’ve been holding off for sometime from giving an update on this story since there is another published account of Steve and Roxi’s story due soon, but before one of the most widely read threads on PL gets archived I’m going to jump the gun. For those new to this story this is a classic PL thread with a combination of good insight, wisecracks, trolls, opposing opinion and hard lessons learned of a couple with rising hopes that crash to the ground. The last published episode of Steve and Roxi seemed like THE END in big capital letters, but like many relationships there can be down time that can bring strength back in to the relationship and in this case what seemed like an unlikely occurrence happened. Steve and Roxi shortly after mended their relationship and she returned to New York City where they had a second child and what seemed like a disaster turned into a happy marriage.

Jaime,

Can you tell us where the published follow up is going to appear.  If I remember correctly she was from an extremely poor economic background and perhaps both her parents had passed away?  She was also portrayed in the article as perhaps being mentally ill.  That GQ article was painful read.  That is fantastic to hear that things worked out, they are back together, and now have two kids.  From train wreck to happy ending.  You do not hear about that too often.

Alabama boy, I recall the article well.  That 38 year old photographer wasn't so special.  He couldn't figure out how to prevent a pregnancy and probably thought that a check would substitute for a father's responsibility.

NC read comment #157 above. Sounds like things worked out in the end but I never saw the other article released to hear exactly how it happened.
