edit:
Omg, reading this and it sounds like you need her to sign the back of the photos? Is that accurate?

No, no need to sign the photos, you just need to print the full name on the back of each passport photo.

I remember a very nice episode in which the groom didn't show up to the wedding! I wonder why it was only on one of many episodes...

grrrrrr.....jm you just pulled ahead of me in the process!

I am in the process of preparing the email I will sent to my girl containing her G-325a, and her letter of intent to marry (that she has to sign).

She will then send those back to me with passport photos.

i asked in another thread but no one has responded: whats the most reliable way to send physical mail from Colombia to the US?

This is fun; jm and I having a mini race to get our brides here.  Not that anyone would ever rush such things

Actual 2X2 passport photos with white background need to be sent in - regular photos won't cut it.
http://travel.state.gov/pdf/Photo%20Guide%2010-01-04.pdf

For the name in the box at the bottom of the page, you would enter your name on your G-325A and your fiancée would enter her name on her G-325A. Enter 'NONE' in the Alien registration Number field.

EDIT: You probably want to go ahead and just have your fiancée get a number of passport photos taken now because she will need to submit several more with her actual visa application during her interview. I am not sure if each consulate is consistent as to the number of passport photos that they require from each applicant but the Guangzhou Consulate requires that 6 passport photos be submitted.

DONT add anything to the alien registration number for her G325a or any other form. She will have one issued as soon as the case file opens and they will fill it in. On yours, you can either leave the bottom blank or write in US Citizen for the A#.

So your recommendation is to disregard the USCIS instructions for the forms in regards to the A# fields or are you just referring to the G325A? The I129F instructions specifically state to answer all questions fully - state that an item is non applicable with 'N/A' or if the answer is none, write 'none'. Question 8b on part 1 of the I-129F and question 9 on part 2 asks for an A# as well. Those questions are for the petitioner to answer and then sign for their accuracy - leaving them blank in anticipation of USCIS entering values into them later would defeat the purpose of signing the form. There is an A# field in the 'For USCIS Use Only' portion of the form for them to enter the A# after the case file as been opened.

Well, with any luck I should have everything mailed off next week or the week after.

Seems the easiest way to do the photos is get digital photos and print out 6 2X2 photos on a standard 4X6 photo at a drug store, then cut it up. Need to get some freeware photo editing software.

you betcha!!!. Never did it any other way, pilgrim. You do it any way you want to, though. The A# is issued on the filing and the files that I saw at consular interviews frequently had the NONE or N/A stricken out in red ink with the number now penned into the line.

I also never sent a fiancee's statement of intent to marry because there is a K form to that effect that is signed by the fiancee for the embassy

Interesting but I will stick with what they ask for - I learned a long time ago never to leave anything blank on any document that requires your signature. I used the 'None' technique as indicated in the instructions and had no problems.

BTW - I can actually see the consulates striking out certain things on the forms and entering what they want like you said because I know that what USCIS wants is not always what the DOS/Consulates want - there sure does seem to be a lot of infighting between them.

NOT the consulate. The service center. The red ink pen is in the purview of the service center. The consulate will not alter the I129f document in any way. It is a DOJ- now DHS document. Consulate is DOS.

Had a fraud case years ago where a travel agent was doing visa extensions and visa changes on ineligible cases. She would fill in the approval in red, give an adjudication number- number of an employee working the cases. Some adjudicators would think that the case was already done and put the application in the approved pile without further review. oOme of her failures got put into proceedings. FBI missed her; she had already "relocated" back to Thailand when they came to her office.
