Went to the interview here in LA. Got there early and waited for a few minutes. In the waiting room we were sitting next to another couple, the lady was crying and the husband was getting reprimanded for something.
Went into interview, the interviewer did NOT speak fluent Spanish, but relied on my interpretations for my spouse and she also responded when she understood. Got questioned specifically about 'our' joint bank account, which I opened specifically for this interview. I told him that I opened it for the interview only and that we didn't really use it. He kinda looked at me funny and perhaps realized all he was going to hear the truth from us. After this he asked about a couple other things which I answered honestly and within 10 minutes the interview was all but complete. After this we BS'ed for about 30 minutes about travelling and where he had traveled to.
All in all it was a completely painless process, the pics we had were convincing especially the ultrasound of our unborn child. There was no need to be anything but pleasant and honest. I do feel pretty lucky because he did ask for some original copies of a couple docs that I did not have, but he seemed to like us and that must have played into his quick decision.
Fathertime!
