One year anniversary

Whats up guys!  Just wanted to let everyone know my wife and I just had our one year wedding anniversary.  We have had our ups and downs, but for the most part, things are great.

My step daughter was awarded the English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) student of the year award for her school last week.  She started 1st grade not knowing any English except numbers and her ABC's (using the song) and know can have a complete conversation in English.  My wife, on the other hand, still has limited English due to not knowing many Latinos here and me speaking to her in Spanish.  My wife did take and pass her driving exam which was administered here (Florida) in Spanish.

My wife and daughter are going to Cali (Colombia) for June and July and I will spend the last week of July there for my vacation.  My wife has not been to Colombia in a year and she is so excited to see her family.  I can tell she is homesick, but she loves her new life and husband :) and wouldn't change anything.

My observation so far of my Colombian Bride:  She is very loyal and attentive, she is loving, caring and affectionate.  She is my best friend, confidant, companion, lover, and everything I could have ever asked for or dreamed of in this life.  My decision to seek marriage abroad was the best choice I ever made.  I took my time and found "the one".   I always tell my wife that I will never win the lottery because I won the lottery of life when I met her.

Congratulations Bundy!!  I live in Atlantic Beach(great bars,restaurants, and beach) and if you are ever heading out this way, let me know..It woudl be great to speak with you about your "Latin wife"  experience....Toby
