Must do things while in Barranquilla?

What are some things that I simply must see, places where I should eat while in Barranquilla.

I will be going there in two days for 6 days, have never been to Colombia.

Umm...let's see. If I remember correctly, they have a zoo and a mall and a few discos and...I'm drawing a blank. If you're not going to carnival, that's about it except oogling the women. But Santa Marta and Cartagena are close by.

Carnival is going right now, not sure how long it lasts, but should provide you with plenty of entertainment.

One must do is the mud volcano.  About 45 minutes outside the city.

Also try going to Las Vegas (not las vegas nevada, but la vegas in BAQ).  Where you can try your luck at creole bowling and a game that involves explosives.

Invite me for a beer.

Carnaval is awesome.

sweat and work on your tan.

and of course meet the women.

I am not sure there are any "MUST SEES" in BAQ

There are some interesting places to go with your lady.  Kilimanjaro (sp?) and el Castillo restaurant in Salgar are nice if you happen to be staying in Jamie's beach house in Salgar, and might be worth the trip even if you aren't staying there.  There is an Amusement Park with rollercosters and stuff. A small zoo.  If you like seafood there is a nice restaurant overlooking the river right near the ocean (I can remember the name, something like Mirflores I think) and you can take a small little train from there to where the river meets the sea.  The rotating restaurant on top of the hotel don Carlton is pretty ritzy and offers a beautiful view of the city at night.  I like the Colombian style hotdogs they serve at a place called "Licks".  I have never been to the disco "frogleggs" but I hear it is popular with ex-pats and their novias.  I think I saw a paintball range somewhere just outside of town.  There are lots of casinos if you like slot machines. I think there is a statue of Shakira somewhere in town too
