My Barranquilla trip report, Oct 08...

I stayed at Jamie's apartment in Barranquilla.
     I generally enjoy taller and full bodied gals and I spotted one on Jamie's website that I liked so prior to going to Barranquilla I had been webcamming with my lady for a month and felt that I knew quite a bit about her,  so I wanted to make her my first priority upon arrival.  I knew that she had a fulltime job an would be busy working up until 8pm at night, so i decided I was going to meet other girls during the day "leverage".

As it turns out, I met some great gals during the day and clearly was getting 'go' signals from them, but I decided not to take things too far because I was still waiting to see how things went with my 'primary woman'.  Meanwhile my 'primary woman' was meeting me in the evening and giving me very ambigous signals, no kissing, no hand holding, tounching of any kind was discouraged by neutral to negative body language.  All the while we were getting to know each other better, we stayed together til 1-2am every night and seemed to hit if off. Alas,  finally after day 3 around the time I created the "Fathertime strikes fools gold thread" I had, had about enough of the standoffishness I was sensing, and was preparing to move on, since I already had the 'leverage' to do so without much hesitation.  I could not tell if this woman liked me or hated me.  Normally it is very obvious if a latina is into you or not but not in this case. The lack of  physical contact was starting to make me think she thought I was grotesque or something.   

This is the point where I decided to cut bait and I told her that was my decision, to my surprise I could see that I really hurt her feelings. She left in a huff and would not even look at me or accept my taxi fare as she stormed out.  When she arrived home she started pounding me with Instant Messages.   One thing led to another and next thing you know we decide to meet the following night at her house so I can meet her mother and sister. At some point she must have decided that I was alright because alll that BS about kissing, touching, fell by the wayside. Anyway, this lovely lady has a lot of potential with me so I am just going to let things play out a bit more but I do intend on following up here pretty soon and traveling back to Barranquilla rather quickly.

Jamie's Place: 100 a night.

I really like Jamie's place since it is walking distance to the gym the market. It is also a quick jaunt over to Buena Vista mall and such.  I was able to meet the majority of the ladies that I wanted to and everything was handled in a professional manner.  Compared to all the other agencies I have utilitized this one has always stood out as the best...by far!   http://www.latin-wife.com/

Thanks, guys...this definitely beats the tar and feathering that would have been waiting for me if the big lug screwed it up! He still can, even though I am hoping that he won't. I seriously get the vibe that this girl is the one who is going to love him in spite of himself! So far, she has been an ace in my book and has treated him better than he probably deserves!  Yes, I can get a little sappy every now and then! Sue me!!!

By the way...Please PM me the link to the pics and thanks for warning me that some of them are going to have your mug in 'em beforehand so that I can brace meself!

What was the cost to use Jamie's agency in addition to the $100/night fee?  Can you offer any comments comparing Cali and Barranquilla-ladies, agencies, the cities?

Hey John W!

Costs other than the 100 a night fee are fairly minimal.  If you purchase food at the nearby Olympica his housekeeper will cook it.  If you need an intrepreter that is an add-on fee, you can the details on his website.  If you do group meetings you must give each girl 3k pesos for their transportation, which seems fair enough. 

Generally speaking, I prefer Barranquilla to Cali although either city is good in terms of meeting girls.  As is always the case, it is a case by case situation with each gal you meet but I would say there is a decent percentage of girls that are  in this for the right reasons, you just have to be asute enough to avoid the landmines!

Latin wife is the best of the agencies as far as I am concerned, if you are going to Cali, then Cali Charm was also a very decent place for me and their prices are a bit less.
