I have made two trips to Colombia in search of a woman but only just found this board. My experience, like most others I guess, is a mixed bag. I went back for a week just this month to see one woman, and only one woman, and it did not go very well.
I'm 44, American, right now I live and work in Bermuda as a corporate jet pilot. Getting time off to travel to Colombia is difficult so I'm working on getting a job in the US that will make it easier. Never married, no kids, never established a relationship with an American woman I was willing to marry, and the ones I was close to were probably not mother material anyway. I would still like, even at my relatively advanced age, to have kids, and barring that I still would like one woman to be with the rest of my life, and it seems to me if I'm going to achieve that this will be how I do it.
