I liked the rosetta programs also, but my problem was I didn't have the time to sit down and focus on a computer for an hour or so. Obviously, learning from an instructor in a class is the best way to learn, but like I said, I didn't have the time to dedicate to that either. That's why I liked the pimsleur programs so much, because in the morning just stick in the cd, and learn on your way to work, and on your way back home. I have a busy schedule so pimsleur worked out perfect for me, and it was enough for what i wanted to do in colombia, which was one-on-one time with me and a latina w/o a translator.

Thanks for the info chizz! I do have the time to sit down and focus on a computer for an hour. But, I do agree that learning from an instructor in a classroom setting would be more beneficial. My goal is to be able speak (like you) with a latina on a private basis, without much help from a translator, or use of an agency. I think I'm going to utilze the benefits of the program, as well the classroom setting. Appreciate the back!
