ENGLISH LESSONS- and some sobering thoughts
« on: November 25, 2007, 04:43:34 PM »
My gf/fiancee/wife (all three titles meet the definition somewhere) has been attending English lessons in her city at AUA. There are 14 women of varying ages in this class from about 18 to 50.

Or was telling me about 4 girls who have US fiancees in the class. One girl is an active bar girl who has 3 US boyfriends, 20's, 30's & 50's, each who pays for the english lessons and each who is sending additional money to the girl to take care of her family. She is actually still working in the Full Moon a go go and is hoping to find the RIGHT man to marry. Another girl has 2 USC boyfriends who take care of her and pays for English but her THAI boyfriend lives with her and even drives her to class. She checks into a hotel when one of her BF show up. Yet another girl has 3 USC boyfriends that she met on the Internet-coincidentally through my "favorite" scumbag romance tour agency. She actually intends to marry one of them eventually -probably he who spends the most money.

This leaves the other two. One BF, waiting for fiancee visas. So- a "success" rate of 40% and they are not even in the US yet. . . . .

Definitely sobering because these are country girls who stayed into the county and didnt move to BKK for the money.

However some of the other girls in the class are learning english to start looking and they are of better character. . . .

The message is-be careful out there

William, how many of those girls have college degrees? I decided up front I was going to limit my searches to girls with at least a bachelor's degree. Besides the compatibility factor I thought it might be a good way to eliminate those kinds of girls.

good call on looking at education. Also look at girls that have daytime jobs and follow up on them. girls who travel hundreds of miles to work in the areas frequented by thourists are suspect-unless they are working hotel jobs, etc.

The poor families never get the opportunity. Public education is provided up to 4th grade and most people get up to 6th. Then you have to pay to be there.

My lady finished a masters last year. None of the bar girls have a degree.

I have heard and personally experienced a large number of Filipinas having degrees, I hear its about 60+%.  It blows me away when I here of a girl with a nursing degree as a housekeeper in Hong Kong.  Degrees don't get jobs that don't exist.
