This "peace talk" nonsense has been going on for years. The Philippine government always gives up more and more and the Muslims keep killing non-Muslims despite numerous agreements and cease-fires. During recent truce agreements, The MILF has sponsored and protected secret training facilities for foreign terrorists.

The Muslims will never be satisfied. Any "peace" accord will only be temporary. They want to control everything from the Philippines to Malaysia to Indonesia to Thailand. I think they will get restless very soon if there are no innocent infidel women and babies to kill.

Personally, I wouldn't trust the rebels as far as I could throw them.

As it stands now, the Muslims have an autonomous region in Mindanao where they have their own special laws and exceptions to the Philippine constitution.

For example, other Filipinos must be 18 to marry...Muslims can marry as young as 15 or even 13. The only legal divorce in the Philippines is reserved exclusively for Muslims.

Well that sucks big time. Special laws for Muslims indeed.  I think the world would be better served if we could resurrect Queen Isabela la Catolica and tell her that her services are needed once again.
