At the last tally everyone had enough spites to officially come back as a Dung Beetle in their next life.

Apparently not- the smites have disappeared like locusts or boils. . . .

They had only been here a few weeks- retribution from the forum gods for blasphemy, I imagine.

The forum gods have chosen not to afflict us further, hallowed be their names. . .

I think for some people, the smite button was a way of life. I imagine that there are more than one registered members that never post, just push the smite button on everyone whenever they visit. Wait! A mental picture of a typical smiter is coming through...

Now that that feature has been done away with, I guess a few folks out there will now have to get a life...

I think it's all William's fault. No sooner did he bring up the idea of awarding prizes that the moderators dumped the whole thing...

Though I've never given another member a smite, I'm personally gona miss it. It was kind of fun seeing how many smites I picked up during the day. It's encouraging to know that someone out there hates you enough stay up all night anxiously awaiting the passage of 48 hours just so they could smite you again. I love it!

Anyway, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all the applauds and smites.

I have to say that I was also kind of enjoying watching my smites grow. Especially when I wasn't posting anything. Somehow it made me feel appreciated.

Hey- I noticed that too. Every 2 days, my smites went up while I was on vacation. Sorta like interest. I think I finished with a +4 differential. I was trying to figure out how we could get some meaning out of all that when, as suddenly as it came, the plague left again.

Anyway, I got a real bad cold and jetlag so I will bid you all a farewell for the rest of today. I just cant hang. . . .

You can't pay too much attention to these smites. It's just a AW who registered on here who has no where else to turn her ire.
