Hotel princess is where I stayed last time.  $60,000 pesos a day with free breakfast, and internet in the room.  It's in the central to north area.  Also there is a place called Boston.  $50,000 a night but no restaurant or internet.  In reguards to the Hotel Princess you just work out a price with the owner Jose.  Nice guy.  Tell him Roger recommended him to you.  Was there in Jan- Feb time frame.

Hotel Barranquilla Plaza was great!  About $70 a night....but incredible view....top notch restauant on site...plus many others nearby.....great pool area......nice bar.....great breakfast buffet with to order omelets, pancakes, sausage, fresh juices, everything.  And some of the cutest girls I have ever seen working at the front desk!

Hotel Caribe 79 also. But is not a high rise....but nice large rooms....jacuzzi tubs....nice location.  I think that was about $50 per night.

I am just curious how much you would be willing to pay for a luxury apartment.....1-2 bedrooms....for the night, week, month?  I am thinking about buying a place there and renting it out when I am not in town.

I am looking to rent a room between 200-600 per month depending on what it has to offer.  I do not mind sharing a place with others.  I think you have a brilliant idea!  I would also be interested in weekly rates for shorter stays.  I am looking to rent a room for sure 3-6 months starting October 1st or sooner.  Just to give you an idea.
