After 2 years, I found my girl!

I never even had to go to Panama to visit.  I started talking to her on latinamericancupid.com a couple of years ago.  she was awarded a scholarship to a university in oklahoma to study english for 3 months.  i met her there and after seeing each other there, here in texas, and with my parents in tennessee, we are getting married this winter.  she is awesome.  funny thing is she is relatively well known in panama.  it is amusing to see the articles in magazines and the net about her.  anyway, she is an awesome girl and i wish you all the same success!

thanks.  i really cant recommend that site enough.  for $25 a month you get unlimited contacts.  i even dated a couple of girls (one from venezuela and one from el salvador) that lived here in houston.  my only regret was that i never got to meet any of the other girls i talked to.   so who cares.

I knew who it was when I read the story. When I logged in to post, I saw the picture and couldn't resist.

I'm familiar, but just in the sense as another guy that was writing in the process of looking for a wife. We quit writing a while back, and I'm married now, so I have no intentions of writing her. It just blew me away at how small the internet is. Sometimes we think we are so anonymous and this post proves it just isn't so.

Writing/talking daily with interest ended last year.
A couple of things went on, I had to make a decision and I did.
Long story, but it was more my bad than hers. Writing as just friends fizzled out last year as well, and that ended 100% in the past 3-4 months. I hate to say it, but we were probably cc'd on the same photo emails. (Mine are all deleted now though)

I know DB's picture is in good humor, but since you deleted yours, I'll back you up and say that yes, she is a good looking girl.
