I just arrived back to bogota from San Andres. We had a smashing time. The weather was perfect and the water MUY CHEVERISIMO! The highlight (besides the cama..hehe) was renting one of those little golf carts and scooting around the island for 3.5 hours letting my novia take the wheel. In fact, I kind of figured she's going to be wearing the pants in the family but I am too old to argue...at least about the small stuff. Besides, I am whipped.

I got the bright idea of throwing a big party for her family tonight so I called Nelson's Dad and he put everything together at the last minute. The reception room looks beautiful and the party starts in about an hour. She gave me the ring back so i can present it in front of her family. I guess i have to drop a knee. Well, if I am not too guayabo manana I will report back.

I fly to costa rica tomorrow and then onto the USA Wed. hasta pronto

PS. Soltero, LOL on your PM regarding pinning your email to my chest or something along those lines. Most of my amigos emails are auto fill in my client but again i switched laptops.

PSS. There is a glitch in the G325A running Adobe Acrobat 7.0 at least on Vista. After a lot of headache trying to fill the date fields, I got the idea of loading 8.0 and was able to properly fill the form

Papi

I hope it works out but IMHO, you are disrespecting her by refering to her as" THE BEST ASS IN COLOMBIA" and " THE HIGHLIGHT(BESIDES THE CAMA), man, to me that is glorifying her some sex object, but hey, good luck with it all

My wife loves it when I comment on what a wonderful ass she's got or how great I think she is in the sack. As long as it's positive and directed towrds her (even if it is a little sex object-type comment), she'll take it. I guess she likes thinking she's a hot ticket. Or that I think so.

For many of them, the highlight of their day is getting up from behind their keyboards and taking a dump...

Count me among the lucky few, then. Since picking up one of these a few months back, I do my business right here from where I type.

In fact, I don't even need to get up to quench my thirst.

Beverage anyone?

Papi, you seem like a very open guy and your comments are taken with just the right amount of salt. So, you keep your steam up and never let anyone "burst your bubble". Good job senor!!

Great to hear that the sharks did not take you, my place in Cali will be done in 2-3 months and you and your new wife are invited to a BBQ there. I think you'll enjoy it.

Best regards,
M

Mecca, that is very kind of you. Please PM me your email so I can get you on the mailing list of my monthly newsletter. By the way, I dropped a knee last night in front of the family and friends but am not married yet. I am going to petition for the K1.

Hats off to Charlie for throwing a wonderful party in Bogota. I was thinking pizza and beer (in keeping with my pizza dates) but they put together a far more elegant extravaganza. They have had many weddings but I guess I was the first engagement party. Maybe if my novia gets pregnant, we will return in 13 years to have the Bar/Bat Mitzvah at Nelson's...LOL

RP, thanks! I am fairly clear on the initial petition and have someone in Bog to help with the balance of the paperwork. I am in CR and return to the USA manana. I plan to submit the initial petition this week. Hopefully, the process won't be too big of a major headache.

Hey Papi!!

Congrats on finding your keeper!!  The real important question now is what will Stan, Jake, and Brazilpro do with all their free time now that you are going to be married??!! :D :D

I was wondering....why dont you just do the paperwork yourself...you know its not that difficult.

Where will the two of you be living???

Once again congrats Papi..........

didn't someone report above that club enimigo has a good dump to look forward to? Maybe they can try adding a little extra fiber in their diet to improve the experience.

I am handling the initial petition on my end doing all the paperwork myself and have it done for the most part. I have an amigo in Bogota that is helping on her end when she receives the packets from the embassy. He's doing it at a favor - no charge. But I will try and better understand the process after the petition and send her everything she needs but again having someone there to help especially on stuff that may need translating will be helpful. I am not entirely clear on the process after the initial petition. However, the petition seems rather straightforward and I did it once before but things have changed.

I love S. Texas but feel my novia would be happier in Las Vegas or Miami. Probably the Rio Grande Valley for now

We live outside of San Antonio and my wife loves it here - she feels quite at home. In fact the predominant Latino culture is one of the reasons she still can't speak English yet manages to have a good job. Having travelled around the country a bit, my wife would not leave here for Miami or Las Vegas.

Hey Papi,

Las Vegas is a great place to live, I was there for seven years prior to moving back to Southern California last year. Two great areas to live in are, Green Valley and Summerlin, can recommend both of them. Only issue I had living there was the first summer, temp hit 121 degrees!!!!  but after the first summer, I was used to the heat and learned to tolerate it.  Good luck on whatever you decide
