Ever have the girl get attached really fast?

 I mentioned earlier that I have been talking to a Chinese girl off plenty off fish.  Well we talk alot and we both have webcams so we can see each other. I think this girl is really infatuated and we havent even been talking a month :O  I like this and i enjoy talking to her but she keeps acting like I am the one, thinks about me all the time etc. and we havent even met yet.  She even keeps saying she is worried i am going to find someone here in the US thats better than her.  I think part of it has to do with the fact that she has never had a boyfriend (she is 25). 

She has shown me no red flags to indicate she is a scammer either.  Never asked for money and wants me to move to China. 

I like her so far but I am definately not about to get down on one knee without ever meeting her lol.  I plan to visit her eventually.  Not sure when yet though.  I have an anxiety disorder and the largest cause of my anxiety is travelling to strange places ugh lol   But I have travelled before and I have been to China.

Anyway, did this happen with you guys as well.  Any success stories with girls like this?  I try to slow it down with her some but its like she cant help herself.

First of all, it is somewhat credible that at 25 she has had no prior boyfriend.  Space is at a premium in China and there just aren't many places for privacy unless you have real money, which most Chinese do not.  Chinese women mature more slowly than western women, so that has a bearing as well.

The definition of infatuation is projecting on someone else your own hopes, dreams, values;  they become a perfect reflection of what a person is looking for.  So yes, she could very well be infatuated.

Now what you do with those two pieces of opinion is your business.  *grin*

i know what your talking about turbo. i have had this happen with a couple of ladies from the PI.
It's almost like they think you are going to her on a plane next week to see them.
there have been a couple of times when i have told my girl " slow down"

as far as your anxiety disorder goes, i think that a couple of good strong jack & cokes an hour before you get on the plane mite do you some good.

Jack & coke? What a terrible thing to do to decent booze. How about some Remy Martin XO and Mrs. Butterworths? Or some nice Dom Perignon and Kool aid? Sounds like the Mexican ladies who used to work for me as I watched them in awe when they mixed Cazadores Reposado and Mountain Dew.

Hey Turbo, her concern that you might find a woman "better" than her screams insecurity.  Why go halfway around the world to find an insecure woman when there are plenty here?

Just go slow and steady and satisfy yourself.  Get your questions answered and if she the one who answers them correctly then you both win - if she's the right girl then she'll understand that.  Don't let her anxiety or yours change anything, its normal to feel that way.  Remember their odds of finding a good man on line are little and none.  Just take your time and think it through.

I've had that happen to me countless times. Maybe my online personality is very attractive? Who knows. When it happens in few days or weeks I would back off. If a girl comes on too quickly I have to think she doesn't have much self-worth, just wants an (any) foreign BF, maybe a scammer, maybe going through a translator who is skewing her meaning to flatter you, who knows...I feel more trusting of the girls who take it slow and really get to know you.

I beg to differ. There are some really great bourbons out there, and some great scotch if you have the money. Unfortunately WA's alcohol tax is so ridiculous that I can't afford much of anything. I would not call JD good booze though, it tastes almost as bad as evan williams but double the price. Henry McKenna is in my experience by far the best cheap bourbon, but sadly not available anywhere near where I live.
