I was reading somewhere on the planet where someone was suggesting to take the lead early and basically show who is boss. I have given some thought to that and think it is excellent advice. Otherwise, the relationship is probably doomed. For example, in the case of my cyber novia on the camera, instead of even discussing it with her - I should of Just Said No. I did it on the perfume with my new cyber babe in lima and I intend to do it on her rental car request.

Just say I'd love to buy you a camera, perfume or rent a car but I just don't have the money right now.

It works for me. I think it's better to be poor than tacano.

my CZ said i was tacono (cheap) which i thought was pretty funny since she said she was going to buy the camera and wanted to know the prices in the US, which i knew wouldn't happen. i know being cheap is a hot button with latinas. All the same, they will try to take advantage of us in many ways and not just financially unless we establish early that we are the Alpha. I think whoever said to show who is boss from the get go is right.

1. Women who are sincere and have good morals will not be hitting a guy for money and gifts, especially this early on in the relationship.
2. Based on your stories you meet girls opposite of that.  Maybe you go for wrong girls, maybe you meet them in wrong places, most likely you have wrong criteria.  It is not normal for a girl to ask some guy she never met for cameras.  this has NEVER happened to me, and I have corresponded to a great number of girls.
3. If you are in a bona fide relationship the woman would expect that you will be generous with your resources.  This has nothing to do with asking for presents from a guy that this girl has never met, nor has committed to.

BTW, all this is pretty self-evident and general knowledge for all other people.
