cali over-fished?

well, i don't have the answer for that. But despite what the optimists think, there continues to be a ketchup crisis in colombia. Yet, I am not supposed to comment on the measly 8 gram packet of Fruco branded red goo served today with my papas saladas after humping up las tres cruses. I instead went for the generous serving of chimichurri accompanying my meal. Just checking in from the land of milk, honey and chimichurri...next stop lima....

OK, here is my argument on "Is Cali overfished". 

Is New York City overfished?  Is Atlanta overfished?  Of course not.  There are tons of women in Cali.  I assume that every gringo has the mentality that the only way to meet women is thru an agency.  Total BS.  I had so many women stare at me like I was Brad Pitt or Bruce Willis (my shout out to Papi).  At the restaurant, at the pharmacy, at the ATM, while standing in line to go pee, standing on the corner hailing a taxi.  They are everywhere, and they are curious about you.  We are just as exotic to them as they are to us.

A great place to get your feet wet is at an agency, but once you get your bearing and feel comfortable, there are women everywhere!  It is very different then the states.  In Cali, there is something attractive about 95% of the women you see.  They have nice eyes, giant chest (yikes!), nice rear end, sweet smile, pretty hair, etc.  In the states, I see mostly large, heavy, fat, giant, and big women!  (Did I cover most of em'?)  It is night and day comparing the US and Colombia in my opinion.

My two cents from a guy that has lurked PL for months, posted for a few more months, and made the giant leap to Cali.

I've never been to Cali.  But in my opinion anyone who hasn't gone yet...doesn't really need to.  Judging by the pictures some of you guys have posted of your girlfriends and fiances from Cali....it looks to me like all the good ones are taken already.   

I'm sure there are one or two good ones still there, but unless you got the moves that Papi has to back up your game with...you will be extremely lucky to find one.

well grasshopper, that is certainly and optimistic outlook. Sounds like you would make a great wingman. I will take the hotties and since you are not too selective can have the homely amigas which i guess must fall under the 95% attractive in your book

I don't think Cali is over-fished. It's possible though that some fish are not biting. By that, I mean;

1) There are some who are not interested in leaving Colombia and/or dating Americans. If you moved to Colombia on a permanent basis you stock might rise..
2) There are some that are in agencies but only at the expense of a friend who dragged them along. In otherwords, they are interested either.

Bundy is right; you will get alot of attention anywhere you go so you have to take your time, and you'll meet the right one.

   Yea sean I am sure jealous, last time I was Barranquilla that is what I looked for "packets of ketchup". One day I was at the mall and order hamburger, fries but no ketchup man was I pissed. Who am I kidding I could have cared less about the ketchup I was to busy checking the beautiful girl behind the counter. I mean really who the heck goes to Colombia for the ketchup. SHOW ME THE WOMAN!
