it wont be cheap. Perhaps you can find a student at a college willing to do it. Most translators that I use will charge between 25-50 dollars a page depending on the amount of work involved- but I am using qualified translators.

Machine translation isn't perfected yet, but it should give you the gist of the message. Remember modern Chinese has no gender, no tenses, and no pronouns, so the translator has to do quite a bit of guesswork.

With Russian woman agencies sometimes they have a translation service that costs about $5USD per letter.  I was looking for something like that.

I'd do a google search and try to find a translator residing in China who's looking for work. I saw a few when I checked a while back, just posting their ad like in a classified.

I think Chnlove.com has a service where they take the lady's letter, translate it, and e-mail it to you, for about $5 apiece. Might try contacting them and see if you can work something out.
