Annual online services in review

lots of talk about agencies on PL..anyone want to discuss the online options? i was chatting online with a colombian amigo today  and he likes cyber cupido. He says it is free? I never used it. I will start out by saying amigos blows....any other opinions on dating services? Recommendations?

Why do you keep saying that amigos blows? Back in the day, you could spend $10 on a monthly membership, write as many chicks as you wanted giving them your real email address and then start up a corresponsdence outside of amigos. Has it changed?

Well, in my experience amigos required me to do most of the work to try to contact the women. I don't know what to attribute it to, but compared to other sites the response rate from ladies on amigos was minimal, almost zero.

The profiles I posted at all the sites were almost identical...

Maybe my experience is not the norm, but it seems Papi also did not do well on that site.

if you must know

1. papi was on it with his lovable smile since 2003 and mostly got winks from the pooch gallery

2. you can pay $10 now, but the chicas cant contact you unless you pay more

3. you cannot send your contact info unless you pay for the chicas or the chicas are paying members which is rare (see pooch gallery).

4. cannot IM...chicas love this feature

I liked amigos about 5 years ago. It really was good back in the day. I got great results and then when I started getting serious about making the trips, I joined again about 3 years ago and it just went down hill. Everything changed all around.

I like la cupid the best, but I want to give cybercupido a try. I'm probably going to give that a shot if nothing becomes of my next visits.

Bummer. That explains why it went downhill. The chicas used to be able to join for free and if you paid your $10, you could send them a message with your email address. It sounds like they killed it in an attempt to get more money but they should have left it alone.
