Getting into UK from Brazil

I'm wondering if anyone here has any good advice on the best route to get into the UK as a Brazillian national. Few facts that may help, my lady friend is 42 has a decent job but little money and lives in rented accomadation. I've yet to meet her in the flesh ( plenty of phone and web cam time ) I plan on vising her in Brazil in January, since I imagine it will be much more difficult for her to come here. She would like to come back here after my visit and assuming all goes well, which visa is the best to seek?

Sorry to disappoint, Ethan. I believe there is only one other Brit posting here, and he hasn't posted in months. Now, if you were asking about the process as it pertains to the States, I am sure that there are a few here that could chime in admirably...

Sorry, I didn't realize that this forum was dedicated to visa requirements for entering the U.K.

Since you don't seem to have access to Google, I did you a favor and looked it up for you. It took me the whole of 2 minutes to find it and there is no charge for the info.

A: She doesn't need a visa, just a passport and a plane ticket.

Hello Ray,

Yes I was well aware of that fact, as you say very easy to discover. What you clearly do not understand is that many Brazillians are turned away at the airport in Heathrow. So you are correct no visa is required but at the airport when the checks are made is where there can be problems. As for the site being dedicated to UK visa issues, I don't think that kind of comment deserves a reply.
Anyhow my girlfriend managed to get into the UK, even without your helpful comments Ray.

That's O.K. Ethen, I didn't expect a reply. To refresh your memory, that comment was in response to the sarcastic comments in your second post of this thread...
