a need to save money by purchasing a camera in the US.
She asks you to price said camera and she says she will
send the money upfront. The only favor is buying and mailing
her the camera which you really do not have to do.
What is all this nonsense about quimica and trust then??

I think he has made his intentions perfectly clear. He wants to use this camera thing as a way to purchase a piece of tail. If Papi can't find a prostitiute to service him, he will try to create one.

But what this whole camera discussion is REALLY about is just Papi looking for attention again. I guess he got it...

Paps, from the above, it appears as if you put YOURSELF on the program....From your telling of it, the girl was originally offering to pay for the camera, but you have now convinced her that you are willing to trade the camera for some tail. In the above, it appears that she thinks she is agreeing to have sex with you for the camera if she likes you, and if not, she will pay you for the camera. Do you even realize you are pimping yourself out to be marked? If I am misunderstanding this "transaction", then please clarify with more info...

Well, papi, you used to expect sex after buying a girl pizza and paying her cab fare.  Now you are willing to throw a camera into the deal.  This is kinda funny and sad at the same time.

Also, re "rule #1", at least the way you understand it is a fundamentally incongrous concept.  This simply states that you buy girls cameras and whatever else only after they have sex with you.  Why would you buy a camera for any girl that 1) you are not serious about and 2) is not serious about you and 3) apparently displays low ethical standards, whether before, after or during the sexual act?  Tell me, WHY?  Why not tell her that if you come down and she sleeps with you, you will also buy her a new Clio?  Why stop with the camera?

What you are essentially saying by this post and your follow-ups is this:  I can't get laid with a woman unless I travel abroad and bring her a camera.  Apparently you know very well where you stand with the chicas after all.  I hope sincerely you change.  Otherwise, your life will be lonely and unhappy, and will NEVER change to the better.  I wish you luck.

What you have done, if I follow correctly, is naively tell this woman that you want her to become your "amiga con direchas". This is not abnormal in Colombia, so you may have unwittingly placed in her head that you are only looking for a casual thing and nothing more. From following what little you have posted, the conversation turned from her paying

for the camera, to you willingly trading the camera for some poontang, which again, is normal. The only abnormality involved is you posting this on a forum instead of it being a private conversation. Understanding the culture, this is not something that deems the woman as a golddigger or shark, as you proposed the situation in the first place, unknowingly or not. Do not be upset if she now feels that you have an unspoken agreement, and will treat you accordingly. It is up to her now to determine if she likes you enough to allow you to provide gifts for what you could have gotten for free if you just let her pay for the camera, as she won't sleep with you unless she likes you anyway, per your agreement.

If you don't like the advice given, the best thing to do to make sure that advice always goes your way is to not ask others and make your own decisions. Putting it out there is no way to guarantee you are going to like what you hear.
