Meeting multiple girls on the same trip.
« on: January 07, 2007, 07:33:10 PM »
Is it possible?

I'm planning on corresponding with many girls over the next few months and then make a trip to Vietnam and/or China to see at least one of them in person.  If things don't work out with the first girl (no physical chemistry or whatever) I'll need to cut the cord and try to hook up with another lady on my list.

But, the logistics of seeing multiple girls seems nearly impossible on a short trip of 7 to 10 days.  Lets say I have 3 potential candidates.

Day 1: Girl "A" picks me up at the airport.  The fun begins.
Day 5: Girl "A" drops me off at the airport departure terminal.  Kisses goodbye.
 < 1 hour later >
Day 5: Girl "B"  picks me up at the arrivals terminal!  O.k. maybe this will work...
Day 6: Girl "B" is not working out.  I text message William3rd, who then calls me on my cell with bad news about my dying dog.  Girl "B" rushes me back to the airport.
Day 6: I phone girl "C"... hey I just happen to be in Vietnam and was wondering...

Theres got to be a better way.

And as girl #1 stands patiently at the departure terminal waiting for you to cross immigration to the departure gates to have a final glimpse of you leaving-just as girl #2 arrives 2 hours early to make sure she doesnt miss you. . . . . Just call girl #3 and tell her your dog died so you came to Vietnam to mourn?

How about 2 girls in 2 countries and if it clicks with #1, call #2 and tell her your dog died?

In Thailand last year, I worked out meeting two and just alternated days because I had "friends" to see the other nights. I really had the friends who I partied with - after I washed both of the candidates out.

Steve,

There’s nothing wrong with meeting multiple girls on the same trip. If she’s smart, she is meeting multiple guys too.

Personally, I would be honest and up front with them all instead of trying to sneak around from one to another. You should be able to handle 2 or 3 on your short trip with good planning. Just keep it simple and don’t make any promises up front. Try to leave a couple of days at the end of your trip in case you want to go back for a second look at one of them. After you come back, you can sit down and pick one, or start all over again. Taking your time and being sure is the key.

Ask Tim how he did it on his first trip to Hong Kong…great story!

I was just practical about it. I had two women I definitely planned to meet. I had addresses for a couple of others who I planned to contact if the first two meetings were failures.

I was upfront with the two before I arrived, which means they both knew I was meeting another 'friend' during my stay there. I organized the meetings so I'd have a day (or two) with each of them at the beginning of my visit. I left the back end of my visit unplanned, with the idea to fill it in with whichever lady I wanted to spend more time with. It ended up working out ok for me.

I took pains to be honest and as polite as possible, but there was some disappointment felt. Hindsight tells me that was unavoidable. However, it was my life, and I wasn't going to screw around with a decision so important.

Regards, Tim
