Hotels in Bogota
« on: August 12, 2009, 09:02:25 AM »
I need to make a trip to Bogota for the night, leaving today.  Anyone can suggest a good priced hotel in the North part of the city.  If you have the contact info it would be better.

I'd like to stay at about $100/night or less.

Thanks
Monty

I have stayed there last March:

It is highly recommened and it is situated in Santa Barbara which is in the North

But, it is an apartment which cost me $100,000 pesos - slightly less than $50 US

FAST Internet access available.

I'll be staying here at the end of the month. It was recommended to me by my friend who lives there. If i remember right, she told me it's $60 a night.

I have used http://www.travelers.com.co/ quite a bit.We are leaving today for Bogota and are staying at the Radisson. It is expensive but sometimes I can get a package deal from Expedia and the room ends up being $100 a night.

The Andes in North Botota is 190-220,000 pesos a night, it is probably the best quality consistent hotel deal in North Bogota.

There are very good hotels and apartmental rental buildings in other Bogota neighborhoods for way less money.

Didn't get these messages before I left, but thanks anyways.  I ended up staying at Las Terrazas for 77000 pesos/night.  Nice hotel, hot water, breakfast included and staff speaks english.  It wasn't so much north, but central Bogota.  Only negative is he beds were a little hard for me.

But overall a good hotel for one or two nights and great price wise.

Well, I just want to say first that good luck to your trip and enjoy. For me, I would go to Hotel Casa Deco because my boyfriend and I stayed in that hotel. They have a great room, great bathroom, clean, comfy bed, nice lighting. Breakfast was delicious and the service was friendly.
