So when I was checking our bags to leave Colombia, the ticket agent for Copa asked me if my wife had a Colombian passport and I said no, hoping that was the end of it. Well, it wasn't. As we approached our flight gate, there was one more check point where they asked to see my wife's Colombian passport. My wife acted surprised and insisted no one had told us aboout the law. The Colombian agent smiled and pointed to his computer screen, saying "but it says right here they told you when you entered two weeks ago."
