Jamie's Colombia Photos
« on: November 13, 2016, 09:56:17 AM »
I don't know if anyone has paid attention to these when looking at is agency site (latin-wife) but Jamie is an avid photographer and has an interesting series of photos of Colombia (flowers, birds, cities, scenery etc.) linked to his website. Most are centered around his stomping grounds, Barranquilla and the north coast but he has done some traveling around the country too. Worth a look.

It's latin-wife.com. Look at the last column on the right at the bottom of the page.

Buen Camino

I am planning a trip deep into the heart of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in January.

Objective- To climb the Third  (or 4th?) highest peak in Colombia Pico Simons-and scout routes up the the 1st and 2nd  highest peaks for the future-the twin peaks of Cristobal Colon and Simon Bolivar-

It will be 13 days on foot with mule packs with assistance of Kogi Guides-starting at 900 m at trailhead to the summit at 5,550 m

Would a trip report afterwards be a good idea?

Sounds like fun but to make it topical you better tell us about the Indian girls.
