Cebu airport alive and well
« on: December 06, 2015, 03:36:44 AM »
Hello fellas looks like the asain board is kinda dieing a slow death here not many posts are replies....I have flown into Cebu now for like 3 times and other than the run way itself being rougher than hell the airport is a buzz. I absolutley love it no more Manila and over night stays waiting for a domestic flight - saving time and money. Flying into is very quick other than a small wait at customs and finding you a metered cab its great. Remember that you still have the cost of flying back out of the aifrport (750 pecos) which I do find a little pricie but Davo and Manila have the same cost of leaving. Which is besides your ticket cost. Not sure if its the same price as Cebu, its been a couple years now sense I've been to either of them. Maybe someone can pipe in?

dewey,

Yes, it's nice to skip all that junk in Manila if you're going to Cebu.

Did you fly Cathay Pacific? They have a nice connection in Hong Kong that goes directly into Cebu.

no for once I actually connected in Korea I originally had a Korean air flight from Kansas City to Detroit then to Korea then to Cebu...Then that flight canceled and had to end up flying Delta. Which was'nt all bad.seemed like in Detroit and Korea had to travel like a mile in each airport. Domestic on one side international on the other. LOL
