A violent incident occurred in the area of El Poblado in the afternoon of Wednesday,when men dressed in garments unique to the Judicial Police , Sijin, entered an apartment where there were four men.
[/size]Offenders who came to the residential complex reduced two of the guards of the buildingand proceeded to attack the apartment on the seventh floor, which were men.
[/size]After several attempts to enter the workforce, it was an exchange of fire with long arms and short range , including rifles. After several moments of panic in the sector is able to establish the death of two people in the shooting. One of them died by jumping from the seventh floor of the building and fell another shot in the exchange that followed.
[/size]"We are facing one of the best organized criminal gangs in Medellin. They planned everything very well, they knew who they were facing and they knew the police would react, "said general Prada Yesid Vasquez, commander of the Metropolitan Police of the Aburrá Valley.
[/size]It also confirmed that inside the apartment were members of the band "Pacheli" and that the attackers belonged to the combo of "La Sierra".
[/size]In the operation seized two rifles, a submachine gun and a pistol in addition to phones, ammunition and vehicles that were moving subjects. Similarly, after a confrontation with the Police managed to capture six of the criminals who tried to flee after the attack and clashed with the authorities.
[/size]To prevent a timely response from the authorities, individuals poured oil and tacks in the hills surrounding the scene. They patrol collided and there was an accident that left officers injured.

I'm not surprised by it either, not in Medellin now.






 in my bldg in poblado 2 years ago, a group rented an apartment on the 4th floor. they started watching everybody, making schedules as to where everybody lived, coming and going, how many people in the apartments , lifestyle and guards schedule. they broke into 4 apartments before the police figured out it was an inside job. luckily, nobody was hurt, but could have been worse if somebody came home during the robbery.

I wouldn´t live in an apartment building...too dangerous. I´d only live on a finca.
