    What you are stating FT are the LEGAL definitions of those words but since this isn't a court of law I was using the everyday definition which is:. Slander:false, malicious statement that damages a person's reputation.

         The word "statement" in that definition does not imply spoken or written specifically.

Throughout my dealings in terms of legal matters I’ve always been aware of libelous statements as being written and verbal pronouncements as being slanderous.  It doesn’t really matter to me, your point was understood and at the time i wasn't sure you were going to catch what Ray was referring to. 


Regarding dennislevy….i look at most of his posts strictly as entertainment…a harmless goofy guy on the lam in colombia having some fun with the ladies…I know he is a bit arrogant and his Spanish is a little subpar, but to me that is part of what makes his posts more entertaining…the fact is most of his posts don’t pertain to the points that I, at this point would consider helpful to ME…because I’m not ‘dating’ or ‘qualifying’ women.  all in all i think i'd get a kick out meeting dennislevy...i USUALLY like people when i meet them in person, unless they smell bad or don't brush their teeth...i think dennislevy has that covered despite the rumors of his yellow stained teeth! 


I most like informative posts about personal dealings within a marriage to a young Colombian/Latin lady, because that is where I’m at….there are a few men that make posts on this subject and those are the ones I look forward to and glean for helpful hints/info…I even find it useful to look at posts regarding marriages to some of the Asian babes too, sometimes the similarities are striking.

Let me clarify some things, if I can be heard over the relentless screeching of the hysterical child. LOL! Since it obvious to any fool that he only out to start another flame war, I say let him do it in the flame room where it belongs.
　
My intention was not to imply that Dennis Levy is a child molester, uses the services of prostitutes, or is doing anything illegal or immoral.
　
Apparently the term "Sex Tourist" means something entirely different to some members than it does to me. If Dennis got the impression that I was accusing him of using prostitutes or of doing something illegal, then I apologize to him. I have already ceased from using that term, even though one member will never let it go until the day he dies… LOL!
　
Dennis Levy’s lifestyle was never the point and I couldn’t care less if he ever gets married or whom he is sleeping with. His sex life is his personal business, not mine.
　
BUT, when he brings his sex life to the forum, it becomes everyone’s business. My opinion is that if he wants to discuss whom he is sleeping with, there are many other Internet forums where that is appropriate. When he started this thread, where he wanted to discuss ex-sexual partners and talk about whom they are sleeping with before or after they left him, I felt the need to speak up.
　
Why he feels the need to talk about his sex life I don’t know. But I see him attempting to turn this forum into something it has never been in the past, a place to talk about who is screwing whom, including past sexual partners.
　
If those are topics of interest to a large number of the members here, then I think there should be a separate forum, open to members only, where you guys can have fun comparing your intimate encounters. I don’t think this stuff is appropriate on a forum dedicated to meeting, marrying, and living with foreign spouses.

Dennis Levy is the only one that I can think of on this forum who wants to publicly talk about his intimate relations. I think most all members here at least have enough class to keep their sex lives private and not throw it out there for the whole world to read about. But that is just my opinion, as one of the long-time members here and concerned about the direction in which this forum is headed.

I am not particularly interested in hearing about continuous streams of gays, and grannies, and grandes.

More seriously, sex is part of a romantic relationship.  I think discussions of sexual mores of different countries, cultures, and religions and how to manage when a potential partner's are very different from one's own are legitimate topics for a serious relationship forum.

One should also consider that a potential partner may not appreciate such discussions on a public forum.  I have heard of "unpleasant reactions" by women who were talked about in that manner on other forums.  Beware the 'telechica' network!

I have no problem with people discussing sex on the forum. Especially since this is a forum and all of us are more or less anonymous. I hope "Dennis Levy" is not his real name. On second thought, who cares if he is not anonymous. That is his choice I guess. But for the rest of us, if we want to get information on the board in an anonymous manner, then why hold back? Some of the guys here are in the prime of their sexual "life". And to them the sex part of the relationship may be the most important aspect.

In general I am for freedom of information, not restriction of information.

Sometimes the information released here can be a little crude, unpleasant, or just not my thing, but I think it is important to be able to provide a forum for free flow of information as long as it is not damaging anyone else.

Sex is CRUCIAL in Colombia.....that goes for amost everyone from 18 or so to 60 who is in the game, foreign men , and Colombian women . While Im at it...Ill add it is very much part of life for many Colombians with committments....jejeje..the rate of infelidty among men is probably at least 85% across all social classes and strata.

If I said I  had sex with Esperanza Gonzales Diaz Moreno (and thats a fictional name that  I created...just to make the point) and she is age 36 from barrio ESTADIO in Medellin...thats saying WHO I slept with.

I dont do that. I give a couple of details, an age, maybe a location, but never a name or even a fictional name.  NO Colombian women has ever complained to me that I had talked about her publicly....

And if a newcomer who goes to Jamie s agency or another agency wants to call his dates latina number 1 or M or C...thats fine with me.

And if I say an ex of mine got married or went back to her old boyfriend, that is hardly a comentary on her sexual morality.

I think that  discussing sex within the context of of latin culture and THIS  latin board, is permissible as long as there are no names or details. i ve never said anything  more then someone was incredible lover and that s referring to woman, not to me!!!!!

Ive done that...with Colombian women, more then once. And my intention is not to show that Im a stud....because physcially I m unimpressive. But I ve focused on the culture and the language and the ccustoms...and I realistically  know what women attract me and why I attract certain women.....so now its part of my life.

And before anyone says...you re bragging because ANY GRINGO can get laid in Colombia...that is not quite true...there are foreigners who are so deficient in their social skills and thir disrepect for or inability to understand the culture and their refusal to adapt to the the culture or to respect women or to try and date appropriate women ...so yes ANY GRINGO can have sex if they pay for it.

        Somerhing I thought needed to be discussed is the use of the term "sex tourist".It doesn't matter what the definition is on this forum the rest of the world defines it different and it's a very negative term.Surely there is something else that can be used for someone who is just dating.That was my objection and I hope some light has been shed on the subject.

         I don't mind anyone discussing sex.It is a part of an adult relationship.As long as it doesn't become like what teenage boys do.I don't see Dennis even coming close to that.Ray has strong opinions and doesn't mind expressing them, nothing wrong with that.I think he does present a valid point(besides the one at the top of his head) about discussing sex in a public forum.I think you must keep in mind that it is a public forum when you post.I agree on that point.As long as not too much detail is given it should be OK.But good judgement should be exercised...just as in using negative terms about someone else here.
