hmmm, so its been almost a month since I got notification that the CIS approved the petition, and about three weeks since Bogota was sent the paperwork.


I thought my girl would have received the package from the Embassy by now.


Should I call them or something?

Sure you come and go here and ask of members when you do come (glad you're not describing intimate details of your love life anymore though) but you've been here enough times to realize that threads typically veer off to 'here and there.' Try not to be tooo demanding! Nobody is going to 'hold' your own exclusive thread just for you. From what I've seen, that's a rare, posthumous honor around here.

Maritime, I don't think you've offended anybody--no stepping on the party by you and as with all people, we're glad to help and also glad that you bring (and share) helpful experiences. Maritime, you have some unique ties to both sides from your bloodline, to your  travels and you contribute well--thanks, guys!

UPDATE: girlie got the interview package (package 3 instruction package) from Bogota today!!!

Sounds good, Osa--hope it's smooth sailing from here on out. I guess what I'd be wondering is 'just how essential is my being there for interview' really is? I really don't know about down there.
