I am well traveled out of county and get the latin culture....  I am not fluent in Spanish but can get by..

Are you sure you "get" the latin culture? which part of it? even from one town to the next there can be a big cultural difference let alone the country, and then you have the individual personalities.

It would be wise in my opinion to keep in mind that not all latinas are the same, so it's good you are considering a specific place to start, but don't expect to fit in in every spanish speaking country in north/central/south america just because you have traveled to some of this places, unless you feel you already feel you fit in in one place you've been to, in that case you might want to stick to that area for a while.

Go In For It

I Vixen has very good point on Latin culture.

If you are unsure which country you want to know, you can continue on LatinAmericanCupid, and get to know women from each countries.   When you are ready, you can then focus on 1 country (perhaps into 1 city).

Thinking of going to Jamie's site is bit to early for you especially when you do not know anything about Colombian women.  Have few months with dating site (LatinAmericanCupid) first, then start think about going to Jamies, etc

I found my woman through ColombianCupid but also found my ex-prometida through ColombianCupid too.

Thanks for all the great info guys.  Quick update I have been on latinamericancupib for about 3 weeks and have been talking nightly to 3-4 girls and I have narrowed down my first visit to Medellin get a feel of what I am getting myself into and to meet these girls.

Trip updates to come probably in 4-6 weeks
