There were some great song lyrics written on P-L Asian recently. I haven't written (re-written) many song lyrics since my old P-L days collaborating with the great Jimbo. But, I was recently inspired when I went to Jollibee early on morning and saw some foreigners with their "baklas" or "bayots" (ladyboys). Wghat happens in the Phoilippines...stays in the Philippines.
Afterwards I went to an Internet cafe (waiting for my new ISP to intall my service) and saw serval more chatting with their foreign men. I am not sure if the kanos knew who or what they were involved with?
Riding home on my motorcycle, passing over a tall bridge above the river, an image of James Blunt's music video "You're Beautiful" popped into my mind. The lyrics just seemed to magically appear, like "Stairway To Heaven".
It was not written about anyone in particular, unlike Carly Simon's (You're So Vain").
