I think he should find another line of work.....almost everything he writes would make me run not just walk away from the whole agency  scene. jajaja

jajajaj that's funny, i got a good chuckle out of it,  but true, once you seen what i have seen, you just sit back and shake your head.  i don't do it for the $$$$, i usually get  the guys who have used other agencies, got burned  and tried Colombian cupid and got taken and are tired of the lies, BS  and bad women.

Now why don't we all have a big group hug and cry in our beers?

I'm up for that  :D

UC, the "leave the Colombiana in Colombia" seems to be the best arrangement for everyone. There it is an even playing field and all parties will be happier. If you bring her here, it seems like many times it turns out to be a bit of a mess for the guy and the girl is not quite as happy as she would have been in her own country either.

Everyone wins with the "ex pat" plan. You gotta go with it with a zen like attitude though and not be too attached to things or relationships. If you can master that as it looks like CROW has done, then you can at that point truly appreciate the Colombiana experience.

This is a watershed here on P-L. Considering what has been written recently on P-L concerning Colombia and its women, UC's quote "Leave the Colombiana in Colombia" is advice whose time has surely come. When consider my own thoughts and experiences, I am at a loss to argue this point.

I am still glad to read the good news stories here on P-L. I see the guys who have married or committed themselves to more mature Colombianas, ones who are divorced or already with children, seem to be in happy and secure relationships - I salute and wish you all many years of happiness. Similarly, for those gringos who are looking to settle in Colombia, or else to enjoy the company of Colombian women in their native environment with no string attached, the party goes on - at least for now. If this is your thing then, provided you do in Rome as the Romans do, you should be fine.

But for the average newbie Latina-fancier looking to meet a younger woman (age 18-30) to start a new life with in his own country, it looks like the Colombian party is over. Considering all the potential pitfalls, if this is you then in 2010 you're likely better off looking elsewhere. The exception is for those gringos capable of attracting specifically those younger women who share their specific interests and lifestyle (I like to think of myself as one, but alas my track record with Colombianas in the UK is also lame.) For such gringos however, the whole of Latin America is potentially an oyster.

Finally, rather than crying into our beers I think it's better to draw a line under the past, raise a glass to the future, and move on to greener pastures.

it seems you are making contradictory statements here.  For some men Colombiana's are attainable but on the other hand they are not.

the statement of leaving colombian babes in colombia is nothing new...if that is the only way a man feels he can 'hold on' to his babe, well then if he really wants her THAT bad, then i guess moving to colombia is his best option.  i wouldn't want to be in a position where I feel I have to move to colombia in order to have a wife...living in colombia is best left to those playing the field, in my opinion.

i tell it like i  see it, if you don't like it, tough cookies!!!!!! ;)

sine been going to Colombia for over 7 years, lived in Medellin, ran a business there, see all sorts of weirdos, social misfits trying to  get girls way too young, out of their league, throwing $$$ at them thinking they can change the girl, or take out of her improvised situation and use  it as a  "  dangling a carrot"

seen the other side, girls working good guys who had no clue and should have done some research before heading down. guys who were desperate and the girls could smell it a mile away, worked guys over for a visa. one guy in particular i remember, about 37, fat, not much to look at, bad teeth, but nice guy, good personality, started dating a girl about 23, had 2 kids, but wow, beautiful girl. everybody was watching her and him, how they each reacted, acted when together, was easy to se,e she wasn't all that much into him, and several people asked him, " you sure you know what your doing?"  because was obvious, she was using him to get to USA with her kids for better life.
1 year after she got there, she divorced him.  but this guy, you couldn't change his mind.

This is the best description of a situation I never chose to be a part of.Its simple supply and demand.Without pigeons there wouldn't be pigeon feed. The best thing is not to be a pigeon!' hehehe....bad Latinas and dumbarse Gringos...a match made in heaven.

There is no quid pro quo in the relationship with my girlfriend....I pay her exactly the same as the other models that work for me and do not sleep with me. She tried to convince me that I should let her keep all the money that she earns and she would pay the utility bills. I said sure I'll pay you every thing  you make for the studio if you move out. She didn't seem to think that was such a good idea and hasn't brought up the subject again.
I love my girlfriend but she is free to leave anytime she likes....as beautiful and nice as she is.....I'm constantly reminded of the opportunity costs of living with a chick in Cali...namely it's not so easy to be with the thousands of other hot women here.

Seems to me that there is a recurring theme on this board of guys having all kinds of problems with colombianas. Not just on this thread but Luisa or Claudia?
That was my thread - and it is not a problem with Colombianas so much as scammers on the internet.  I just noticed two profiles using the same picture - obviously one and probably both are fake.

I have a similar thread in the Asian forum.  Same issue.

It is something that is in alot of places, not just Colombia.Same thing on other issues.Sometimes I wonder if guys are picturing a country where all the women are virgins dressed in white waiting for some guy to come rescue them. Then when theses guys see reality they become jaded because they were wrong.

Crow, also, I thinks she understands now that she is not unique, there are many more copies of her walking around.

I think most women (in the HOT or "10" category) feel that they are "sitting" on magic and forget that half of the population (females) are sitting on the same magic.

A friendly reminder of their "status" is always helpful in a relationship.

I don't see how any chick could feel that way in Colombia. I walk down a Laureles street and in a couple of blocks, I see more hot chick than I would see in an afternoon in a US city. And they're dispensable. My Colombian brothers-in-law - I never see them with the same chick twice. If you're a guy, you gotta love it - you have all the power.

Re:>>Whether it be a keystroke register, a private investigator or a phone tap, it's all fair game<<

Obviously, a phone tap's legality depends on who's doing it and local laws. Even though it was never used in court, I had hours of damning phone calls recorded of my ex changing her mind and demands every which way and acting real strange.

I was told that in my state of residence, as long as there weren't any children heard in the back ground or otherwise known to be present, it was admissible in court. Check the laws--you don't want to be surprised to find you showed up in court w/ illegally obtained 'evidence'.

God forbid you do go thru a divorce, don't waste your money and your lawyer's time with tons of nasty little details that bother you, but ultimately have little or no bearing on the outcome of the case. He/she may have the paralegal read it (maybe) and charge you regardless --big bucks--many hours for supposedly 'reading' it. And you'll have a very hard time proving otherwise if you think they didn't really read it. They'll have copies on hand to 'read' if you do challenge them on it later...

Shysters.
