They've been covering that story here (the airline, Southwest, is based here) and the story they're giving now is that the crew didn't 'take' the baby from the parents, they 'offered to help calm it down' and the parents agreed. Goes on to say that the police where they landed (Phoenix? Albuquerque? I forget.) got involved and after interviewing the parents, the crew and several passenger witnesses decided there was no crime. I hope the police were correct in their assessment.
