Hello to all, hope everyone is doing well. I have a question for anyone who married a women from the Philippines with a nursing degree. Can my wife just pass the nursing boards and then is a recognized nurse? Or does she have to go back to school? I asked some doctors/nurses around here but they did not know. BTW I got married on May 25. Thanks in advance.
Hey cwebb,
Congratulations!
It takes a lot of patience.
First, she must study and pass the Philippine (NLE) Nursing Licensure (Board) Examination.
Check with your state nursing board for THEIR licensure requirements.
Many states require a CGFNS Credentials Evaluation Service Full Education Course-By-Course Report.
Some states also require CGFNS Exam and Certification Program.
After approval, she will review and take the NCLEX Exam.
