Hi guys . .  . Just thought I'd post an intro.  47 y.o., divorced, ex-New Yorker now living on the Left Coast.  The time is right for me to find someone permanent!  I've traveled a bit in Latin America and have decided that's the place I'm going to look.  Particularly interested in Colombia and Argentina.  I see that plenty of fellows on the board end up with much younger women, but I'd be happy to find a gal in her 30s with an education and a nice smile.  Hasta luego . . .

Nothing wrong with a 30 yr old, although I have to admit, the ratio of 30 year old women with children either unwed and or divorced in Latin America Vs Eastern Europe
is incredible, well that's Catholicism at it's finest. I just received a letter from a very nice looking 23 yr old living in Medellin with her 5 other sisters ranging in age from 12 to 27  and all of them except for her and the 12 yr old have children already. if you don't mind a prepackaged family, then you will be in luck. I don't have anything personal against women already having children, but I just wasn't ready before, to take of care kids on top of everything else I had to deal with in my life.

Welcome to the board and saludos to you as well. Reading through all the old posts and trip reports will give you a pretty good idea of how things work,
but having travelled to Latin America already has no doubt given you some perspective already.
