Spell check can be dangerous if relied on too much. One of the things my son had to do to get into his High School Academy was to write an essay explaining why he wanted to go there.
He meant to write "I want to enGage my teachers"
Instead, he wrote "I want to enRage my teachers"
Of course, both are spelled correctly and grammar check would've passed them also.
My younger son had 'People Magazine' for a science paper citation. He meant to write "Popular Science" but was quite off the mark and didn't check how spell check corrected it.
I don't read all their school work, but maybe I should.....
