Have you guys heard of the latest comments from Hugo Chavez about Haiti? Well, acording to Chavez, the Haitian earthquake was caused but the USA testing of nuclear weapons. If that isn't crazy enough, he goes on to say that the US has delivered troops to Haiti for the sole purpose of taking over that country and establishing military bases there. Even most of the Venezuelan people are embarrased by his comments. Unbelievable- the US can't even be a good Samaritan without Chavez finding something bad to say about them.

Would someone please give this guy his psych meds and straight jacket before he says anything more stupid?

He is using any means he can as a diversion because he has elections coming up for Key positions in the congress. He is crazy, but also very gifted in the art of diversion. He has completely mismanaged the economy there and gives more money to other government's then he spends on the people. BUT that being said, the Venezuelan people are to blame as well, They are the worst I have seen at saying "WHATEVER" . If it does not affect my dally life and I can continue to get my plastic surgery and have my FULL ON RUMBA, no problem for me. This is the problem with that country.I have been there 3 times and they are truly some of the most arrogant and intolerable people I have met in all my travels in the world

You can find whatever you want on the internet, but what does seem clear is that Venezuela has a hell of a lot of oil and that Chavez has managed to mismanage it's vast resources almost beyond measure. Most sources seem to list Venez as being somewhere between 5th and 7th world wide in proven oil reserves.

The above info is a few years old, but the comedy/tragedy continues.They have to much oil for the USA not to buy some (actually LOTS) but this guy is such a nut that he will ensure his own end, either at the the hands of his own people or from outside sources. The day he stops taking US dollars and insists on being paid in Euros for oil will be the real countdown to his end.

I would be really concerned if this idiot had any nukes. How this guy got elected is a complete mystery to me, and the people must really be snowed over to keep him in power. I said this guy (Chavez)  will probably hasten his own demise, but then again, another nut job --this one in Asia--N Korea's so called 'leader' has more deadly toys, has starved much of his own population while keeping the military fat, is at least unstable mentally and yet has been around quite a while. BUT--he has those nuclear threats and is very well protected--isolated in his crazy country.
