Hello,

1. Has anyone stayed at the Medellin Royal Hotel ? I am planning to stay there in May for 6 days.

2. has anyone got married in Colombia civilly? What paperwork do you need from the US in order to get married? I think I need to translate my divorce decree.

thank you.

As far as #2, I got married in Bogota and had to have some things notorized and apostilled but I don't remember having anything translated except my birth certificate.
I also had to have 2 notarized statements from friends saying I was able to marry.

It might be  best to contact a notary in Colombia that will do the service and ask what they require. Here is a helpful website also:http://bogota.usembassy.gov/marriage.html
