I have been to Colombia many times with a couple of agencies for tours, and on my own as well.  In my experience, I can say that every group I went with the only guys I can remember ever having a bad experience had to do with them having a negative attitude the whole time, and/or they were extremely frugile (cheap, bad attitude, not a good combination).  Sometimes guys have no idea what they are doing and getting into, so they are not prepared mentally or financially, and all they do is waste their time and money.

I was hinting more at the fact that you will be "in the family"

Anyone had experience of being with a girl you love, but her family doesn't like you - and you don't get on with them?

YOU must have the advantage of speaking spanish to be able to find a girl
so quicky without going into any of the games most men confront. WERE
YOU just lucky or did you follow a game plan and weed out the interesadas
from the beginning. Also how many girls did you actually meet and interact with.
