Do Colombian women age well?
« on: March 18, 2009, 05:27:25 PM »
Kind of a shallow question I know, but what is your opinion?

When you look at the single Colombian women on various websites, it seems like more than half of all the women 25 years old and younger are completely gorgeous but if you are looking for a woman older than 25 it seems like most of the women look pretty rough.  I don't think I could trust a woman under 25 again, too immature and selfcentered.  But physical attraction is important too, don't see the point in traveling half way around to world to meet women on average no more attractive than those at my local grocery store but don't speak English and have fewer job prospects.

Is this because almost all of the attractive women find themselves a husband by age 25, leaving mostly only the less attractive women still looking?

Is it because the marriage agencies send out female staffers to seek out and "recruit" the absolute most attractive women from Malls, Universities, and College campuses to join their websites, but the older women must find the agencies on their own and are made up of more desperate women who are a mixed bag when it comes to physical appearance?

Is it because Colombians have a lower standard of living they start to age more rapidly after a certain point?

Or do Latin women generally blossom young and "hit the wall" early?  That seems like the case with the local Mexican immigrant population living in Oregon, but they all eat even more fast food and exercise less than American women and have 3 times as many kids so it might not be a fair comparison.

I know lots of guys here have married very beautiful Colombian women over 30, but there are always exceptions to the rule.  How about your wives' friends and female relatives over 30?  I have been to Colombia 3 times, seen tons of beautiful women down there, but I wasn't exactly asking to check their cedulars to see how old they were.

Sorry if this question offends anyone, I expect to get some strong reactions from some people or others to point out how shallow it sounds.  But I have the day off and I am bored, so I thought I would post it anyway and see how bad I get flamed ;D

Took my wife to a new doctor last week and the secretary asked me if she was 18 yet. She'll be 34 next month!

If you want to see if Colombian women age well, look at UtopiaCowboys wife!!!!  She is still incredibly beautiful and each photo he posts, she is better and better!!! My former Novia from Medellin is also very pretty and having seen photos of her when she was in her early twenties, I think she looks much better now.  When I was in Medellin on my last visit, there were an incredible number of great looking women in their late thirties and forties.

Just my dos centavos worth

Dan is right. His former novia was a gorgeous woman. My wife got more attractive as she aged judging from photos. In the avatar photo of my wife she is 45.

I do have weak eyesight, but contact lenses fix that problem.  Sadly no quick fix for my poor judgement, I guess I am just stuck with that for now.  Speaking of medical remedies, has your doctor found a way to remove that stick from your prosterior? ::)

           Quixote,

After visiting several countries and being around many women I can say without a doubt that pretty much any woman that doesn't take care of herself will not age well.Doesn't matter the country.Do AWs age well?

Good point researcher.  Poor eating habits and lifestyle will derail even the best genes as they account for 50% of gene expression.  Better to look for someone that has a healthy attitude and takes care of themselves.

Don't recall ever having that problem. Why do you ask, is your doctor looking for pointers? Hey, com'on, you said you were looking to get flamed, I was just accommodating you.

Researcher is 100% correct i work out at the gym 3 to 5 times a week and i find the women at the gym to look younger and healthier then the ones that do not eat right and care for there bodies. also keep in mind that if she smokes that will also age her faster no matter where she is from.

Enjoy your day off and best of luck to you

Fair 'nuff.  My apologies then.  I did not take it personally and hope you did not either.

I also agree with what other people are saying. Healthy living and exercise go a long way to maintaining a younger appearance.  So many Colombians eat smaller portions of healthier home cooked meals and get plenty of exercise because they don't own cars, go out dancing and doing other physical activities rather than staying home and watching TV like AW.  Plus, seems like they have more positive stress free outlook on life that is probably good for your health too.  I think Colombians definately drink more than Amercians though, or maybe just the Colombians I was around did alot of drinking.

For the ultimate ageless latina, google Amparo Grisales. One hot bod for a woman of 53 and doesn't mind showing it off nude either!

Women have thinner skin than men, which is why women in general age faster than men. As for Colombian women they do age quicker. There are in the tropical sun year round, which will age your skin. Few women carry umbrellas to block the sun or wear sun lotion to protect themselves from the sun. They walk more than Americans do, which means they are out in the sun more. The diet here is bad, which I would think would play a role. I do not believe the women here drink more than American women I believe they drink much less. The sun has to be the primary culprit.

You may be right. My wife has pale skin and because of this she always wears a hat and slathers on sun block while she's in the sun. She has amazingly youthful skin free of lines as a result. Not too many Colombianas behave the same way.

UC, my wife is fair skinned as well and does not like the sun too much. She uses the strongest sun block she can find when she does go out in the sun.

older than 25 it seems like most of the women look pretty rough.

Depends on your age, too. As you get older, a lot of those "older than 25" start to look pretty good.

I agree.  That is just one of the reasons that I divorced my first wife.  Even though she supposedly quit smoking, I found out that she was later sneaking to do it behind my back.  The second reason was she was beginning to look too much like her mom as she aged...lol.  She is two years older than me and looks much older.

Now when I search for a woman I consider the smoking requirement.  Once a smoker basically always a smoker.  That monkey is a bitch!  I also look at their mama for a good aging indication.  It would be awesome to find a woman that works out on a regular basis, but I don't know if that is reality.  That is one complaint that I always bring up about the women I see here over 30.

I agree the sun is a factor.  I believe the sun would be more intense there as opposed here in Ohio.  If you look at a woman that has tanned a lot, that will give you an indicator right there.  I think women along the coast would be more subsceptible to the sun factor than the women in paisa country.  One thing that I noticed, which could be due to the diet, is that a lot of latin women begin to get bellies on them.  I had a few tell me that American women are fat, and I reply back that I have also seen a lot fat women there.  I also think that AM also are in better shape overall than what I observed there.  So even though men have more muscle mass, there is no reason that a woman can't keep the muscle that they do have tone.

You have a valid point, because I have thought about that in the past.  Diet, sun, lifestyle and exercise I believe are the biggest factors.  I think keeping the skin very moist and not smoking would goe a long way.
