Tour Reviews?

hi,

I have been looking for a wife from overseas for a couple of years, but only recently decided to take a dating tour. So I have a quick question about the tours. the more I read about them the more I want to go but I don't know what company is good and what company I can trust.

Is there a rating or review site? Is there any company you would recommend over other ones? Any company you would avoid?

Any help would be appreciated.

TLC is probably the most well-known and best attended tour organizer.  I believe AFA may have something as well.

As long as you realize what you're buying, I don't think you'll feel cheated.  Remember, all any service can do is to bring you together with Latin women who are interested in meeting and maybe marrying a foreign man.  They can't guarantee that the women you find attractive will be interested in you.

Some guys feel the tours are a bad choice for your money.  I think if you've never traveled to Latin America before and don't speak Spanish, a tour might be the best way to get your feet wet.  Just don't go with any expecations.

Papi is familiar with the TLC tour and might be able to fill you in.

Andrew, I’d recommend TLC…it is a lot of fun and a great way to go for the newbie. You can’t go wrong in Cali – on their June tour or mix it up with Barranquilla/Cali doing a double tour trip.

If you are on a budget, consider CaliCharm. I have never used their services but feel it is one of the best values in Colombia. I did visit their house and it is clean and comfortable in a great location near the popular Chipichape mall. Further they have a very good secretary to help with intros, etc. You will get the camaraderie of the guys and a chance to meet the ladies included with the price of a room. That is they offer free introductions on a one-week stay.

You could back up CC with a membership with ACG which has an office nearby in the mall. I will post the websites below. Let me know if you have any questions.

First...... they are not called dating tours..they are called "Romance Tours" or "Single Tours" and I would stay away from the large tour agencies. To pay way over a $1000 to meet lots of very poor young girls looking for a way out of their country makes no sense. There are way better methods to meet a single Latin woman. I found my Latin wife from another website which was much better than the TLC route. I don't want to promote them but if you have any questions, please contact me.

Not sure what your budget is, so it's hard to recommend a tour to you. Some are pretty cheap, while Latin Wife is probrably one of the most expensive out there. I wanted results from a company that had unbelievable results, and didn't mind paying more for it. However in the end, you should have a clear idea of the type of lady you seek and have a decent command of Spanish as it shows that you respect their culture and are willing to come at least half way to her side.

Tours can be a very good option for someone who is new and wants to check out a place.  Many include hotels, parties and events all wrapped up into one price.  It is usually a more expensive option, but it give you a chance to get to know the country, some of the women and their culture. 

I attended a tour many years ago in Bogota and had a great time, met many nice women, met a few guys that I am still friends with today and most of all (being a complete newbie) it was a way of getting my feet wet and build confidence.

Also, not everyone likes the whole email/messenger route.  There is nothing worse than spending months getting to know a woman you feel might be the one, fly overseas to meet her and within the first 30 minutes spent with her realize you made a big mistake. 

IMHO treat a tour as an educational vacation.  You learn about the country, culture, food, and you get to go to some parties to meet many women, some serious, some not.  It is safe, their are interpreters to help you with language barriers and it's a chance to make some new friends.  Have a great time and get a feel for the women and maybe you will be back or maybe you will decide to try some other country of interest. 

A tour is not for everyone I met many guys that had a terrible time, but I think they had unrealistic expectations.  You definately don't need a tour to fine what you are looking for, but for me it was helpful and I have no regrets.  Anyway you look at it international dating is expensive, it takes many trips, time and money.
